Dogs love chewing pizzle sticks as much as humans love saying "Pizzle sticks" :)
Having TWO pups (small breed 1 year old & extra large breed 7 month old) with allergies we are in the process of an elimination raw diet. These have been introduced recently after a couple of months on a strict one protien diet (rabbit for the first month then gradually introduced lamb tripe).Although they both LOVE these, one pup has started itching again after 3 days of having one of these Lamb Pizzle sticks a day. Strange because that same pup has had lamb tripe with no reaction at all so something used on these pizzle sticks, maybe in the production process or a coating is obviously causing his allergic reaction.I will however continue to buy these for the other pup and our two older dogs as they all love them but its back to dried rabbit ears for the pup who has started itching again. They take a good 5 mins for the large pup and older dogs to chew through, the smaller pup sat for around 20 mins with his, so they do last quite a while for smaller dogs especially. They are long enough to cut in half for smaller breeds so you could get double the ammount doing it that way.Like most dried animal body parts they don't smell too pleasant on opening the bag but its not a lingering smell so its not a major problem. All in all these have been a big hit with our dogs and would recommend as a healthy replacement to dental chews :)

Dogs love them
Bought these as previous dogs loved Bulls pizzles, but they stank and simtimes upset them, these are more suited to our yorkies size, and don't seem to upset their tummies. Already purchased another bag. Would definitely recommend for small dogs.

Rejected by my dog
PACKAGING: Clear plastic marketing bag, re-sealable, press seal bag.PRODUCT: Lamb Pizzle twists - 250gFUNCTIONALITY: There were 13 twist sticks in my pack, all about the same thickness and length. They are pretty long, about 9 inches (22cm) and because two are twisted to make one, they are relatively chunky. There is a slight smell to them, but I only noticed this when I put one to my nose to investigate. I did not notice anything when I gave it to the dog. My dog (Shih Tzu) reluctantly took one. He then proceeded to try and burry it in his bed and when that failed, he just barked at it. It is currently abandoned on the carpet, when he sniffs it occasionally but is otherwise not interested. At the time of this review a pack of Lamb Prizzle twists was £13.99, which works out at about £1 each. I think this is reasonable, only I can't comment on how long one would last, as my dog has rejected them, which is a real shame and difficult therefore to score accurately.

Good job my dog loves these, after what i found out they are!
I have click the 5 star for flavour but as its not me eating them, I can only assumed they are good by the fact my Pomeranian demolished one each time he has one. He lovers these and keep him entertained for a little while. Good value for money, hope they are back in stock soon. Although, now know what part of an animals anatomy they are, it has made me think twice!

Puppies love them!
Absolutely perfect for our puppies to chew on! They also run around with them in their mouths as if they are carrying a big stick! They are jackweenies! All natural and full of goodness, glorious by name and glorious by nurture! Well with the peace and quiet while they are chewing away and the hoomans can eat a meal without the dogs from wanting attention or our food!
