Blown away at the quality!
Let's just say I had set my expectations so as to not be disappointed if this was thin or seemed cheaply made on arrival. I was astounded at the heft when picking it up unfolded out of the package! The fabric is thick with a beautiful peacock blue consistent color. For those grousing about the arm holes, they are where they are supposed to be. The point is to be able to keep your arms and body warm, but grab things in a lady-like manner. They aren't meant to be like sleeves. I got this primarily for a costume, but intentionally went with something little more expensive with the hope of being able to actually wear it afterwards. This did not disappoint! Highly recommend.

Wonderful quality
I actually ended up buying two for myself and my sister cus the fabric is vary sturdy. I walked thru the woods while larping and the clock stood up not a single rip or loose thread. It’s also warm I put it on a number of times so I wouldn’t be cold.

Absolutely gorgeous!
I love the color and the fabric. It is not to heavy, but keeps me warm.

HEAVY. Dark blue is teal and the other reviews are spot on
This is a thick, good quality cloak for the price. Many reviews mentioned the button/clasp and although mine hasn't fallen off yet, I'm prepared and won't be surprised if it does. I'd say just go ahead and start keeping an eye out for something you like better to use as a clasp. I'm 5'1" and I was worried it would be too long but it isn't - not sure how the length works on tall people but us shorties, it's alright. I wish it came in more than just the "one size" - as at my current ~160lbs it doesn't close as completely in the front as I'd like it to. It has nice little arm holes and a decent lining. Overall I'm looking forward to upping my witch factor next winter.

Just rec'd it-clarification on reviews
I am 5"1 and about 130. I rec'd my cape today and overall, I am happy...a couple things to note. I read about the button falling off on other reviews so that was the first thing I looked at. The button is held on by a single thread, so it falling off is very probable. Secondly, the unlining clasp was on sideways so it did not close correctly and lastly, the button was too large to fit through the button hole. These are minor inconviences that grandma can fix. I do like that the cape is lined and heavy. Did not look like a holloween costume-more for going out to a nice place. I like that it is similar to the old fashion capes with only hand holes which were appropriately placed. The cape came down to the middle of my calf (5"1) so I would have like an inch or two more to go to the floor but still is cool looking. Perfect for cold fall days but not so much winter.

Maybe not for tall people
This cloak is great. The material is heavy and good quality. My button came off, but I sewed it back on. I don't know why people are complaining about the arm holes. That's where arm holes are on a cloak. I have several vintage ones, and the arm hole configuration is the exact same. It is meant for doing things and pulling your arms back in. If you walked around with your arms out then it would be a large vest.

NOT wool and made for T-Rex arms
The good thing about this cloak is that it's sewn well, it's lined, has a decent weight, but not too heavy, and would probably keep you cozy if the temps were in the 50's with a light layer beneath. The added touch of the hook & eye at the neck is great. I'm on the shorter end, and it falls just above my ankles. It shipped super quick, too.The lowered stars are due to the fact that it's not at all wool. I've attached a photo of the tag using translation and the outer shell is 100% rice fiber. The arm openings are so high up. It starts just above my bust line and just falls near my underbust, high at my waist. Using the openings would give me a reach of a T-Rex, although it's just right for texting and might be good for drinking hot cider while at a fall festival. In some photos the openings look lower, but those were from 2019. Regarding the size, the nice thing is that it fits me, at a size XL;16/18 (although I carry most of that at my midsection). If your shoulders are more than 46 inches around, it may be too small. It's nice enough to keep and maybe if I get the feedback like some of the reviewers, I'll feel better about the purchase.

Absolutely amazing
I wanted one of Etsy but didn’t have time to wait for it to be hand made before my trip to Salem, so I ordered this (it was also much cheaper). It surpassed my expectations tenfold. I felt so magickal walking around and even did a photo shoot with friends in it. I was very warm (had a down vest on underneath and also arm warmers for the slits; I recommend both if it’s cold out). I love this cloak so much I plan to legit wear it all winter when i want to walk outside and don’t need my arms all that much. It is certainly not wool I can guarantee that because I am allergic to wool and I can touch this thing or have it against my skin no problem. I also washed it when I got it on delicate in cold water and free and clear detergent, and then I let it air dry hanging up. Once it was dry it was wrinkled a bit and very staticky so I threw it in the dryer on low heat for a little bit with a dryer sheet and that took out the wrinkles and got rid of the static cling.Only thing I can think of that could be problematic is that if you really want wool for the extra warmth, which I get because it’s going to be winter soon, maybe get one off Etsy. Also you may need to keep adjusting the cloak forward if you wear a slippery down vest or jacket under it, which I often do as it’s getting colder out now, but I usually have my hands sticking out of the slits so it’s nbd for me.

Different colour
The blue was more a teal which is a shame - but was delivered sooner than expected!

Very nice cloak. Fits well. Warm.
It arrived in good time and was better than expected. It's a relatively nice quality wool blend with satin lining. My daughter hasn't taken it off since Christmas Day. She's 5 5 and the length is just perfect on her. Just above her ankles. It's heavy and warm and the food is quite roomy. It's exactly what she wanted.

Disappointed
Is more of a costume item. Looks cheap and doesn’t live up to the quality that the description states. Was very disappointed when I received it. Cloak is short in length as well, only goes to behind the knees and I’m 5foot5. The button close is very cheap costume like as well

Just perfect
