House of Vampires and Flame: Brides Selection: Shades of Ruin and Magic, Book 1

I hate starting a series before all the books are done but this was worth it and will be worth the wait! I love the story, the MFC is hilarious, spunky, and powerful. I can’t wait for book 2

Loved this book. It's a fantasy with lots of humorous internal dialogue. There is suspense, fighting, and use of powers, as all of the royal princes try to figure out who Little Bob really is. Barbie, disguised as a boy, is trying g to avoid her evil father. I can't wait to find out what happens and will pre-order the next book.

The plot is great! Good world building, humour, characters. So much originality and imagination, it is obvious this author is talented.The tale of “Little Bob”, a princess on the run from her evil father, finding refuge in a supernatural academy.Under her disguise, she manages to attract the attention of the House Princes who are unaware she is female.The reason for the 4* has to do with the writing style.Very confusing at first, then a little stilted, sometimes juvenile like a teenager (talented teenager but still a teenager) writing.I wanted to stop a few times and give up along the way but the actual plot kept me interested. At approximately 40% it started “picking up” and I started to get used to the weird writing style, and enjoy the book.I will be continuing to book 2…

Thumbs up to your creativity and humor. Loving every moment of reading and desperately waiting to get back to the book.

A very different take on this genre that I loved. Well written and well edited. I am off to read the next in the series right away.

The plot is really good. The main character is witty and hilarious, but every single character other then her is hard to differentiate from. They all have the same way of speaking. Same personality. You know when you read a really good book how the characters seem so real? So many of these characters could have been written by any Jo Shmoe. I'm just reading words on a paper instead of being pulled into the story.

Meg you have created a winning combination in Lil Bob knack for mischief and not quiet mayhem. While Bobs mouth provides the comedy her split Sy’s internal monologues and conversations between the two lead to a very entertaining storyline. Let’s not leave out the 5 sizzling 🥵 HOT male leads. All left wondering why they’re drawn to this insignificantly terror that is Bob…..Next stop Barbie and the Bride Selection

When I’m reading this story it reminds me of several others I have read. It’s like a mix of Secret Boy with J Bree’s Bond Series. I really like the humor in it. Looking forward to reading the next book.

I really enjoyed this book. Bobbi is great! She's funny and clever and strong. I loved all the chaos. Can't wait to read the next one.

I have not laughed so much in ages. Great storyline and strong heroine Storyline so far is so new and intriguing heroine is making friends and enemies everywhere she goes now onto book two.😊 great read.

I loved meeting everyone in this book. From Bea who I hope stays a loyal beat friend. To the princes who all equally intrigue me. To the wild magic itself. Well written with the makings of an epic series.This book was a palate cleanser from a different series. But I'm invested now. Devoured within 2 days so an easy read to fall in to. I'm hooked and downloading book two.

10/10 best book I’ve ever read and I’ve read a lot. Can’t wait to read the next one in the series

This is the first book of this authors Ive read and I can hands down say she has nailed the leading female character. Ive read soooo many books and finally I have found a lead female who i actually like. Even though there isn't a whole lot of story progression in book 2 its still a super fun book to read because you actually enjoy the characters. I caught myself having a giggle out loud at Barbie and Sy a few times. I highly recommend this book. The story line is great the characters are fun buuut I'm disappointed I have to wait until April for the 3rd book to come out. Thank you for not making a stereotypical female lead!!!!
