The media could not be loaded.  At first when the box arrived I thought, oh no, this chair is far too big for the purpose I was going to use it for but once assembled (which was super easy by the way) it turned out to be the perfect size except one draw back....so for clarity I purchased this chair because the last one I ordered from another seller was horribly contructed, and was a far too big. I needed a smaller chair/stool because I'm a cosmetologist and needed a chair to sit in when braiding for hours or when cutting hair. This was so I can get around the client chair and function without being on my feet the entire day. First off the seat cushion is super thick and it is very firm. If you are looking for a soft cushioned seat....this is not the chair. I assume the seat cushion is firm to accommodate the weight capacity that is listed with this chair of 400lbs. I'm only 5'2" at 180lbs. I carry most of my mass in my legs and hips. That being said, for me this chair is comfortable and I love the foot rest under the chair and that it is adjustable...the problem I had was I didn't expect the chair to extend up to be so tall Lol. In the photos you'll see how low the seat sits from the door handle vs when it is fully lifted. I did struggle a little getting on to the fully extended chair since it does roll around (and it rolls very smoothly on hard wood and my carpet). So I only use the chair when it it is lowered. If you are taller, the chair being extended to its full height may work for you but as I said, I'm quite short lol. I like that the chair can be tucked away in my space and easily gets around my client chair so that I can work comfortably while doing hair. The chair is a faux leather so it is easy to wipe down and keep sanitary. It is built VERY sturdy in my opinion for my physical frame. I'm glad I found this one after having a bad experience with another chair I ordered from another seller. My new favorite cosmetologist gift to myself. Lol

No tools are needed and I put chair together in a few minutes. It is very comfortable with the back and the foot rest allows me to raise my leg to play my guitars. Cushion is extra thick and just the right firmness. Height is perfect and adjustable. Chair moves easily on my chair mat unlike the big oversized office chair I used to have that took up most of the room behind my desk.Perfect height to type on my keyboard. I am hard on chairs and bought a lot in my 50 years behind a desk. This is the best one I have ever had. Do not need arms that get into the way. Do not need a high back as only my lower back touches the back rest. This one fits my back perfectly. I rarely give good reviews. I used to be part of a Mensa consulting group to evaluate new products so I am picky and so far nothing I would change.

I bought four of these chairs. They are very comfortable, at first. And honestly, they are pretty well-made except for one thing. The backrest is very weak and actually bends backwards if you lean back in it, and we have to continually kneel on the seat and bend the backrest forward. The quality of the upholstery is very good and the cushion is excellent. And the chair back itself is very nice. But the arm that holds the back onto the bottom of the chair is flimsy. This was really disappointing because I looked for a long time at stools. I don’t even want to deal with having to repackage them and send them back. Hopefully in the future, they will perfect this one part and then I would give it a five star review. I welcome contact from the company. If they have an update on the part or some advice, I would welcome hearing from them. I would then revise my review.

We were able to tighten the back up but the seat rocks. Not stable enough.

This thing is sturdy as hell a real tank however I’ve had to add two more layers of padding and it still hurts to sit on
