They are easy to setup and keep my toddler from opening sliding door. And they are hardly noticable.

My toddler loves to get into my tiled shower, and he isn't great at walking on newer surfaces, I also store his soiled cloth diapers in the shower to take care of later, so I need to keep him from touching those too. I purchased these after seeing them on social media (can't remember where) and at first when I opened the box and looked at the instructions I was confused, the instructions are pointless and the pictures provided don't actually show anything that makes sense, I did figure out how they are meant to be used by just looking at the pictures included in the amazon listing. The lock is meant to be horizontally placed on the surface with the longer edge being up against the door you're locking; I would place this very high because when you lift the tabs up to "lock" the door you can very easily just flip them back down. With the lock placed high on the door I have zero issues, and my toddler is now unable to get into the shower. I have had this lock on my sliding shower door for over a week and they are sticking on super well (my shower doors are smooth) we have used the shower at hotter settings multiple times with these up and they show no signs of beginning to fall off from the prolonged humidity. I would recommend this product for sliding glass shower doors if you're looking to keep a toddler or pet out.

Now that he has figured out the sliding glass door lock and has the strength to open it, we were up the creek. Constantly opening the door to escape, leaving door open to let the cool air out, letting out the dog... this was exactly the thing we needed to keep the door shut. It gives a little added layer of security feeling for when we go to bed at night as it's another obstacle for a would-be intruder to overcome besides the door lock and the board we put in the door. Tried another one first, but it was too thick for the door to pass over it when it opened. This one was a hair thinner, and it fit just right. Installation very easy. Would recommend.

Good product for safety

This product to stop the sliding glass door from being opened works great. I now don't have to worry about the doors being opened from the inside or from the outside.. They were so easy to install.

We've had it installed for probably 5 months now and it's held up well. Our toddler figured out how to open the sliding door pretty quickly, so this product is keeping both of our kids and our cat from escaping out the back door. It was super easy to install.

Placed these on the glass at the top of my slider. Forgot about them and opened the slider twice and both times the plastic piece popped off the adhesive strip and fell on the floor. Was not effective option to lock doors.

I like the fact that it has 2 wings. It's very secure and so easy to open and close
