So... it's ok. It got down to 8 degrees quickly and has only gone up once for a few hours when I refilled it with stuff that obviously wasn't cold enough. You need to really chill your wine and/or beer in a proper fridge beforehand, and I did understand that. It's quite noisy, though - it doesn't seem to ever turn off like a fridge does when it's reached its temperature. Biggest disappointment is that the internal light will not stay on for energy saving reasons (according to the blurb). A tiny LED is not going to use much energy - and certainly no more than the front LED display which is constant. I would have liked the light to stay on so that you can see that it's a mini wine cooler and not a microwave in my dining room - which is what it looks like. This is just my opinion, of course. It fulfills its function, but there are those two things that disappoint me.
