In reality, the actual thread size is 9.5 mm O/D but the manufacturers round it up to 10 mm O/D. One still;l worked, but the other one didn't. I was about to throw the one that didn't work away, but having little to do swapped bulbs around the working one from the one that didn't work. I found that only three of those b bulbs worked, and one of those had already been used as a replacement bulb for the working Christmas arch.
