This is definately a professional piece of equipment. The irons heat up very quickly. The irons are very comfortable and can be used for long periods of time without discomfort.I use this along with the FM2023 hot tweezers as well to do SMD rework on circuit boards.A few things to note though:1. If you use it with a pair of hot tweezers, only the tweezers or the iron will be hot at a given time. You can switch between them without disconnecting but only one will be hot at a time.2. This unit does not come with any iron tips. I would reccomend purchasing a T15-ILS for very fine work and a T15-IL for soldering wire to connectors.3. The sleep function can be a little annoying until you get to understand the function's behaviorAll in all, I don't think I could be happier with my purchase :-).

This station is built very well and is easy to use. It rises to temperature within 10-15 seconds and cools off quickly, the stands have switches that automatically put the station in sleep mode if left for several minutes without use (this can be disabled if you want), the iron holders are comfortable and light, the tips are very easy to change out. All in all I'm very happy with this station. I'm using the two included iron holders and the FM-2022 for removing surface mount devices. I wouldn't change a thing.

Love this Station. Now just need to improve my skills to match the tool.

Got one for home to match the one from work. Outstanding piece of equipment. Came with both irons, holders AND tip holder.

I don't use it myself but my staff loves it. To my understanding, this is the gold standard for soldering.

When only the best will do. Makes micro-soldering easy, if you have a good microscope too.
