simple and great addition to my little kitchen
It works! There are some design features that are not so great, but I am single, not a heavy handed person, and this is a cute little addition to my kitchen. One, the metal is a little flimsy. The glassware comes out for easy cleaning, so if the glassware is out, be careful with the metal frame, or you may never get it to hold your glass again! Other than not having to be a klutz, It does the job well, and keeps the coffee hot for my right amount of time. I'm happy with it. Wouldn't recommend for a busy household or or if the glass is going to be constantly taken in and out of the frame! It comes with a long handled spoon for stirring and extra filters, and a cleaning thing, which I haven't used yet. I just wash with a cloth. I have not used a dishwasher, I wash by hand. Overall, It works for me. I think you will need to consider the household on this one!

Love this press
This has been an excellent press, easy to use, easy to clean. It comes with the long spoon and additional screen. Makes 2 standard cups of coffee, but 1 or tall container. Have had absolutely no issues with this unit.

In general good product. But, instructions were confusing
Decided to make the switch to a French Press because that's what my church uses, and I've always enjoyed the coffee on Sunday mornings, compared to the drip I make at home which was like dishwater when comparing the two.The glass unit is attractive. The filter seems to do a really great job. Cleaning is simple (I haven't disassembled the filter yet so that might change this thought when I do).As for the confusing instructions it says to start with 57g of ground coffee. But, then it says something to about using 75g of coffee per liter. First time out I went ahead and used 75g of coffee, which was coarse ground at my local Sprouts so I knew it had went through a good quality burr grinder. I bought a single liter bottle of filtered water and boiled that up. Added the coffee to the press, then a small amount of the water to bloom the grounds. However, when I went to pour the rest of the water into the press I could NOT get all the water in. Probably used 900ml at most to get it to the top fill line, which is at the top of the metal band holding the glass element. The coffee this produced was thick as light mud. VERY strong, an I drank it. But, not what I was hoping for. Since then I've stuck with 60g (per what the barista at church uses), and I can fill to the top line without any issues. I still have a bit of coffee left over after filling my tumbler so will probably try and back off on the water and coffee a bit to save on beans. (For anybody considering a French Press you need to factor that you will be using much more coffee than you would with a normal drip. In my case I'm using 3x the coffee over what my dishwater coffee was. :-( Also, do yourself a favor and buy a decent burr grinder. I tried using my old Krupps blade grinder, and the coffee I made the first time around was even worse than my drip coffee. Probably much too coarse. ).Since the main vessel is glass it does lose a little heat. In retrospect I should've considered a stainless steel press, which will hold the heat better. But, I wanted to make sure I could see the coffee being brewed, and this one looked so stylish. There's also a foam "brush" that comes with it, that I'm not exactly sure what the purpose is. It might be for cleaning. But, the documentation doesn't say, and I've just been using a kitchen sponge I use for dishes. This foam brush seems like it would be too small for cleaning the glass vessel.

Beautiful Press
This French Press is beautiful & makes a great cup of coffee. The screens work well to keep the grounds out of the coffee. The set is exactly as described & includes all pieces shown. It is well packaged & sellers responded quickly to an issue I had and corrected things right away. I love this press & will likely give as gifts to coffee loving friends.

Love it
This is a cute little French press. It’s just the right size for about a cup and a half for one person. I’m liking the taste of my coffee using it instead of K pods.

Womp Womp..
Do not, I repeat, do NOT buy this for aesthetic AND practical purposes. It will fail as both. It’s actually crazy because I used this for almost a month, and the day before I had taken thepictures seen in the 3rd attached image I was going to use those to give this a great 4-star review. Literally the very next day I was washing it and tried to remove the beaker from the metal stand and that shard of glass snapped off like a Pringle. I promise it was the slightest tug, which is a necessary tug in order to remove the thing to clean it…I was planning on 4-stars because within the first week the measuring print was wearing off. I tried to scrub that area less when washing it, but I could tell it was only gonna get worse regardless. When you first open this you can immediately feel how fragile it is. It’s cute and all (and cheaper than a lot of the options on Amazon) but I urge you to buy something with either thicker glass, or just a different material entirely.

Best french press to date
I've gone through my fair share of French presses - they've either broken, bent, were too small, or just simply didn't live up to my expectations. This one takes the cake by far. This has graduated measurements on the side, the first French press I've gotten that has this. Making measuring SO much easier than eye balling and hoping for the best.It comes with a long spoon to mix so the coffee can properly bloom, which was very appreciated along with a brush to clean the glass with and extra filter.Everything about this French press just feels very well made, sturdy, and best of all, makes a great cup of coffee.
