The accuracy is good enough for my purposes
I paired the sensor with my Android phone for use with the TrainerRoad app. Overall this cadence sensor works well with my bike and the app. The accuracy is good enough for my purposes.Switching it to cadence mode is a little tricky. This is what I did.1) Install the battery2) Press the button on the back with a ball tip pen until you hear the click.3) Do this 3-4 times to alternately illuminate the white (cadence mode) and green (speed mode) LEDs4) Stop pressing the button when it's on white (cadence).Others had mentioned you need to do it right after you install the battery. That was not my experience. The key for me was to switch it back and forth between cadence and speed mode a few times BEFORE attempting to pair it.

Total fail
The product was not as described. The product is described as an RPM sensor. The packaging said it was a speed or RPM sensor. There was no light to indicate which mode it was in as the packaging said. I did get it to her connect as an RPM sensor but it gave me an RPM reading of either zero or between 60 and 65. Obviously not working.

Product does as expected and great price
No complaints. Does what it’s suppose to do and very affordable. I’m 3 months in using it so far and no issues.

and use a pointy object like a small philips screwdriver
This is an ok product. Similar to another review, I had issues changing it from Speed to Cadence. It is a bit finicky, but the secret is pressing really hard on the button right after you insert the battery, and use a pointy object like a small philips screwdriver. If you don't hear a distinctive "click" when pressing the button, it was not properly registered. After pressing the button hard with the philips screwdriver, right after inserting the battery I finally got the white led to light up, indicating the device is in cadence mode. Two devices showed on my Wahoo Elemnt computer, one Speed sensor and one Cadence & Speed sensor. Picking the later worked fine. I've been using it for a week with no problem at all.I'd give it 5 stars, but decided to deduct one in light of all this difficulty in changing the mode to cadence. Once you're over this process it works well.

Works but I had to struggle to figure it out
I purchased this cadence sensor so I could interface my non-smart exercise bike with my Meta Quest 3 exercise app in VR.1. You need to be aware that the full and readable instruction have to be down loaded. There is one of those "square, take a picture with your smart phone" printed on the back of the package. If you try to proceed without the full instructions you wil either be very frustrated or ou were previously fully "trained".2. Even with the instructions I highly recommend a magnifying glass to see the features molded into the product. I first tried to just pull the battery cover tab. That does not work. It is difficult to open the back to access the battery. First you peel off the rubber back cover. Then there is a round battery cover that needs to be " unlocked" this is why you need the instructions and the magnifying glass. Then you have to pop open that cover. It doesn't easily turn to open and come off. It is even more difficult to get it closed! After struggling for several hour, loading instructions, printing instructions, trying to understand the instructions, I got the unit reassembled.3. You are suppose to be able to toggle between cadence and speed. There is a very tiny button on the back to push. One time an led lit up but never again. I am not sure why the toggle doesn't work. But luckily it is on cadence and that is what I need for the VR app I was about to use. I figured out it was on cadence by scanning my phone Bluetooth until it found the device.4. I booted up my Meta Quest 3, signed up for the app and it found and paired after a bit with the Meta Quest 3.Note: Now I found in the app that the battery showed quite low. I tested it with my battery tester and it showed low. I put in a new battery but the results were the same. Therefore I am not saying that the included battery was weak. It may be the way I put the unit back together. It however worked fine. Thus I gave a medium 3 star rating as it seems to work but it is difficult to set up and service.

Great Size
I love how small this sensor is and that it can connect to my phone so easily. It was packaged very well and arrived promptly.

Doesn't work. Stick to trusted brands like Wahoo and Garmin
My cadence sensor broke, so I figured I'd give this cheap one a punt. What could go wrong, it's a pretty simple device, right?Wrong. It simply doesn't work as a cadence sensor. I tried it out with a phone and a Wahoo ELEMNT, in both Bluetooth and ANT+ mode, and the results were the same. Ridiculous cadence readings. Like wildly varying between 0 and 250rpm ridiculous. See attached Strava plot.Sadly I went on vacation and missed the return window on this, so I guess I get to keep it, hope maybe they fix it through a firmware update. In the meantime I'm ordering a Garmin cadence sensor.

Bike Speed & Cadence Sensor
Small enough to attach to the bike wheel. Pairs with many fitness apps and smartwatches. Can change to cadence mode with button.
