Clear instructions
This is a great Tai Chi for Seniors. It is easy to follow, and I love how the instructor explains things. Our group ranges in age from 70 to over 90, and this is our most favorite Tai Chi disc.

Great for Uncoordinated Beginners!
My daughter encouraged me to try this DVD. I have Alzheimer's and am in my 70's, and my daughter is in her 50's, and is not the most coordinated person.Because this DVD goes at a slow pace, and has you mirror the instructor, it is very easy to follow along. We have tried other DVDs, and this is by far the best for us. If you do Zumba or Jazzercize or other dance related routines, this will probably be too slow for you, but it was perfect for us. It is a 40 minute workout that can easily be stopped after about 23 minutes if you aren't up for the whole thing straight away. The other nice thing about this DVD is that you don't have to have tons of space in order to do the work out. My daughter and I can do it together on an 8' by 10' area rug with her in the front and me in the back, and we don't ever bump into each other. It you are doing it by yourself you wouldn't even need that much space. It is nice to finally have a DVD that doesn't assume you already know what you are doing. We couldn't be more pleased with our purchase. Even with my mental confusion, I am able to follow the instructor on this DVD. The instructor and the soft background music are very soothing to listen to.

Best For Seniors
It is a slower practice of exercises. That is what a 72 yr old would need.Have watched part of it.Will soon watch the whole thing through.

Somewhat easy to follow direction
Not sure I can actually review this properly because shortly after buying it, I had a shoulder injury and have not been able to get back to my regular exercise routine. I did try it once or twice and it seems easy to follow and I am anxious to give it a try once I’m healed

Hate exercise? This makes it seem effortless but really WORKS. This is for any age.
I don't like exercise at this age!! I'm 71 healthy but arthritis, 3 hip surgeries w/muscle issues with 30 extra lbs have made exercise challenging.I was thrilled w/this dvd. WHY? This dvd makes it seem effortless. It flows for 30 min. No stop and starts. I don't have time or patience to wait for an instructor to explain this and that. You can do a lot of it sitting in a chair if needed. You just follow along watching David. There is really no right or wrong way to do the moves as long as your do them. Your working your body and brain which almost seems effortless.I've done Tai Chi in classes. I also have the Tai Cheng program which is too time consuming and expensive.Tai Chi Fit Over 50 you put on DVD and your doing it. Easy and effective.Best is the affordable price. $13.75. A lunch costs more than this. I found this on The Great Courses Plus was so impressed I got the DVD in case I cancel GC Plus. After a week I muted the sound and put on relaxing instrumental music and just followed along.Order this, do it for a few times and you will feel a difference , your body will thank you. You do it to your ability and as you progress your movements get better and your getting healthier. Win Win.

Favorite Tai Chi program, Love it
Love this Tai Chi program, clear, calming instructions, very, relaxing. Been having a problem with very painful hip bursitis/arthritis and most exercise, some Yoga exacerbates symptoms (in particular floor poses), and wasn't sure if I would be able to do Tai Chi as one leg does not take weight well. Everything is standing and the movement is more simple swaying from one leg to another and very gentle . You could use a chair in front of you if you were unstable, but I did not have to. Started using this in the morning for about 15 minutes ( program is much longer) and it worked wonders at loosening up stiffness and cranky hip. Then I tried it for another 15 minutes before bed after sitting watching TV for too long (not smart with Bursitis/arthritis.) Was amazed at how quickly it relieved the sore stiffness and I slept like a baby). People in normal clothes, moving in a natural fashion, good clear instruction. Well made DVD, my favorite and I wasted money on about 5 Tai Chi DVD's some of which were so Kung Fooey who over twenty would even try them?

New tai chi exerciser
I just started using David-Dorian Ross dvd's. I have several of his dvd's. The thing I like about these workouts is that they are relaxing to me and that the movements do not have to be exact like other older tai chi workouts would imply. I workout 5 days a week in the morning and have been using the tai chi dvd's at night. The only thing I don't care for is that Mr. Ross repeatedly says, "stay with me or us" when he brings in a new move. This is the reason I gave this a 4 instead of a 5. Otherwise, I like Mr. Ross as an instructor and would continue to buy his dvd's. Also, it would be wonderful to have more workouts done outside.
