I have boughten three of these. One for myself and I have gotten compliments on it when I have people over and they use it. They say "Wow this is really nice - where did you get it?" So I have boughten two more as gifts. Comes in a nice box for gifting. It is a good quality item that is very convenient for opening wine. Has everything you need!

We've used a lot of wine openers over the years, and this one is well-made and works great. It's sturdy and should last a long time. We also like that it includes a stand which holds the opener and the foil cutter.

I bought this in June 2019 (the 2019 version, but the same listing). It's worked quite well to open bottles easily for the last year. This weekend was the first time I used the aerator though, and it worked well for the task. However, the plastic/acrylic nozzle snapped off in the bottle when I tried to remove it. I contacted their support and within the same day they responded, took my address information and details about the occurrence, and committed to ship me not only a replacement aerator but a whole new set in response to the break. Very good customer support for a very good product.

I wanted to like this product, which was a replacement for my previously-owned rabbit-style opener that finally died after 10+ years of use. It comes beautifully packaged and feels very solid in the hand, and has a nice finish. But it destroys corks. All of my wine is properly stored in temperature and humidity controlled storage, and I've never had a problem with corks breaking. But this unit destroyed the corks in 7 out of 9 bottles I opened with it (and 1 of the bottles it worked on had a synthetic cork). It would usually rip the top half to two-thirds of the cork off, leaving me quite the mess to deal with. Although I cannot say for sure, I believe that the problem is that the twists in the corkscrew are too big. In any case, I'm disappointed that I need to return this item.

This review is as much about the customer service as it is about the wine opener. I loved this opener from the moment we got it, replacing a rabbit that broke. It got plenty of use and was great, even easier to use than the rabbit. Unfortunately, one little piece popped out on me so I was pretty disheartened, but I contacted the company and they immediately took care of it, sending a whole new set, not just the opener. The new one works great and no problems. I couldn't be happier! Great customer service, great product!

I ordered the wine opener set for my husband as a gift and it worked great at first and then we had a little trouble with it a couple of months in. At that point, it was past the return date, so I wrote to Vinabon, just to double check and Donna, a wonderful customer service representative, got right back to me and assured me that they would send a replacement right away at no cost, which they did immediately! She was so wonderfully pleasant to work with and the new opener works just great!! I recommend this product highly, as it is a great product for a great price, and again, thank them so much for their wonderful customer service!!

I bought this after my Brookstone Rabbit Ear Opener, purchased close to 10 years ago, fell apart and cost twice as much and did not come with these extras accessories. I am very pleased with this opener for the following reasons: 1. looks like it is well built. 2. they give you a Wine Aerator worth about $8.00 if purchased separately 3. they give you a Wine Saver Vacuum Pump Stopper about $7.00 if purchase separately. 4. packed in a nice gift box. Now for a little advice for those who have never used a Rabbit Ear Wine opener, go look at a YouTube video so you don't waste time trying to figure out on how to open wine with this. Once you learn, it is super easy to use after the initial breaking in of the gears, to get a smooth cranking handle action to remove the cork. It was a little difficult in the beginning, but after 8 to10 bottles of wine opening, the gears smoothed out and now works great.

After much dithering over which to pick, we replaced our very dead plastic-y rabbit style wine opener with the Vinabon metal one based on the warranty and US location of the seller. The finish is very nice and the mechanism works smoothly. The heft is nice and the un-corking goes well. The most important thing to know is that there really are people at Vinabon willing to reply and help. Such a relief. Unfortunately, we did experience a part failure on the first one sent. Donna at Vinabon responded immediately and resolved the problem by sending a new opener, which is doing just fine. Factories have Monday mornings like everyone else, so I accept that the problem is not truly indicative of the overall quality offered. While I won't likely need another opener for some time, I can say that I would support this seller again for being responsive and honorable. It means a lot when ordering things blind on line.

I bought this as a gift for a friend and after a month it unfortunately fell apart. I emailed the customer service team and they were so great. They had a new product delivered to me within a couple weeks and there’s been no issues with the replacement!

Es muy práctico

The wine opener is so easy to use. The long leverage means very little physical strength is required even to remove the most stubborn corks. It feels strong and sturdy, just hopes it lasts as long as my previous version which was the same design - that survived over fifteen years of constant use before finally breaking. Two minor negative comments: the cork is not easily removed from the spiral after it is removed from the bottle, had to do it manually by twisting it off though the manual says it will remove automatically by reversing the leverage. The tiny vacuum sealer enclosed with the kit is far too small to create a vacuum in a half full bottle - I will stick with my Vac-o-vin. Overall very good value for the reasonable price.

Superó mis expectativas, viene en un elegante estuche y los accesorios de primera calidad. Sobre todo que trae un stand para que el wine opener se mantenga estable y se pueda tener sobre la barra. Este es mío pero compraré otros para obsequiar a mis amigos entusiastas, súper calidad a un precio muy razonable.

Es muy rápido, no requiere fuerza, tiene la ventaja de que no se romperá el corcho. La caja es grande porque tiene aditamentos para tapar la botella, y un pequeño oxigenador. Muy buen regalo
