It's sharp; it hardly ever "slips" off the edge of a toenail without trimming it as so many other nippers do; and the 'head' is so tiny that it easily fits behind ingrown toenails to trim them out of where other nippers can't even get into! But even though the head is so small, it's still strong enough to clip those really tough, thick toenails, too! It's smaller than other nippers I have used previously used, but it still fits well in my hand (I also ordered a different smaller nipper, and it causes pain in the middle of my hand when I use it). 2 things I don't know but am hoping for the best: I hope, as I order more of them, that quality control will continue actually controlling the quality (other brands of nippers have been shipped to me with blades already bent or with blades that don't actually meet!).
