Great price, sturdy, and easy to put together!
This turned out great and was much easier to put together than I expected! I love it. I got mine on a sale, but I still think it’s reasonably priced compared to some I’ve seen. It stands about waist high for me (I’m 5’6) and it seems pretty sturdy. I applied a waterproof sealant to it and lined it for my use and to last longer. It could easily be stained or whatever else you want to do. The instructions were clear and easy. My husband and I put it together in about 10 minutes. Used a drill for the screws but that was the only tool needed. Love this!!

A good buy
Not perfect but good quality. For the price it’s a good buy. Need some reinforcement otherwise when you move it it may fall apart. I added the wheels so I can move it freely. Overall it’s sturdy with reinforcement. Love it!

Raised Planter
Very sturdy easy to assemble. It is a good size for planting of flowers or vegetables. It is 30 inches high no more bending good for your back.

Fell apart within 3 months
The item did not go together easy, poor fitting pieces. Used for outdoor garden for 3 months and it is literally falling apart. And yes it was put together properly and used properly.

It will serve it's purpose-read on for tips...
It's pine & as you know that's a soft wood & the cuts for the boards are pretty thin, so it will split easily...I had 1 board that arrived already split. So, handle carefully & you will need to use force to slide it into the groove on the legs SO...don't push or hit hard...use a hammer to gently tap into place by tapping a few times on 1 side & then a few times on the other side, keeping the board even to avoid splitting, until you've reached the bottom...be careful & look to be sure that you're putting the right board in...because you will need a dowel hole on each side until you reach the top. If you are worried about denting or marking the wood-just place a towel between the wood & the hammer as you tap. NONE of the ends were smooth sanded...so I literally, sanded each piece & I also sanded the pre cut groove on the legs...it will make your job easier if you'll do this. All you need to assemble is sanding paper, hammer, a phillips head screwdriver & about 30 to 45 minutes. Overall---it's alright...it will serve it's purpose for awhile...AND I'd like to say "you get what you pay for"...like everybody else says...but honestly, you can go to your local home improvement store...choose a better quality wood, let them make your cuts & assemble your own garden bed with nails (or for even more support--use screws & corner brackets) & make your own cheaper & better...so, NO...you're not getting what you paid for here. It is cheaper than other kits & if kits is your thing...then you may as well save the extra bucks on more expensive kits (because it's the same cheap materials) and buy this one. As for me, I thought this would be a simple way to get a bed where I wouldn't have to bend over to harvest herbs, leaf lettuce & spinach...but now that I've seen the product...I know that I can buy 4x4 posts to be cut for legs & have a stronger bed that serves the same purpose...(by-the-way-this one has 2x2 posts for legs) SO I will build my next without a kit. If you're wondering IF it needs to be treated, I saw that in questions...IF you are using this to grow edible plants...the answer is NO...OR at least be sure you're using a Non-toxic form, because the chemicals can leach into your soil, your plants & ultimately-your food. If you decide to go to your home improvement store for boards to build your own...buy untreated lumber.---------------------------------I'm just updating my previous review & took back 1 star...I built this & wrote the review on Feb. 15th...today is Feb. 26th---I haven't planted anything in this yet, but I have it sitting outside in my fenced in garden & this thing is really fragile...I'm disappointed in the purchase. I do recommend just building your own...for less than $60...I was able to build 2- 6'x3' beds, 1-6'x1' bed & a 4'x4' bed--each 10 inches deep & 2 inches thick. IF I could get a do-over, I definitely would not purchase this. I seriously doubt it will survive 1 season.

Fabulous
I purchased two and love them. If you are handy it will be simple to assemble and you need help. Its sturdy, tall and I just love gardening with these planters. The already had the predrilled holes at the bottom. I would say you need about two large bag of soil for each planter.

Worth the money!
Real cedar wood. Cedar, which contains natural oils, is especially resistant to damage caused by bugs, decay or water. There is no verbal instructions only pictures, so set your wood slats out and watch for the dowel holes on the longer sides. The top rail does not have a dowel hole on so look for that and know that is the top rail. I used wood glue on the end caps on as they were too loose. This is a really nice garden box and keeps it up away from my pups. This is also nice in case of freezing weather, to move in to the garage or cover. Cedar is

After 13 months of just sitting there, the d**** thing collapsed
Well, like so many others, when I got this planter all seemed good, other than the fact that it was pretty flimsy and I had to add a few drywall screws to toughen it up. But no problem. Then this am I discover the planter collapsed (see photo). How hard would have been to just use drywall screws instead of tacks to put this together from the beginning? Ah well, I did just that ... inserted about 12 drywall screws throughout and its up & running again. My advice, go ahead and buy this bad boy and just add the drywall screws at the front end and you'll probably be happy as a clam (are clams happy?).
