I’ve never used a pair of pliers like this before, so it took a minute to figure out the best way to use these but they work well. And they're sturdy as well.

For the price this plier works very well. The great thing is the rotation of the head so you can use it at any angle. Just finished a throttle body replacement with very tight places for clamped hoses and it worked very well.

Excellent tool! This tool saved me a lot of time as well as kept me from pinching my hands and fingers with ordinary pliers. Would definitely recommend this tool to anyone.

Quality is okay. Not much to say other than the fact that it works (for now). I am not sure how long this will last based on the construction and material used. But for the price I think you can't ask for much more.

Hose clamp tool works best on round wire tension clamps for hose. Is adequate for flat spring hose clamps. Works much better than using water pump pliers. Ratchet feature works good to keep clamps open while adjusting location of clamp on hose connection. Ratchet work great for clamp removal. I should have purchased one long ago.

I have been our family shade tree mechanic for about 20 years and have done many repairs that have required me to have so many tools that my garage looks like a auto repair shop. But I have avoided purchasing these pliers because I could get away with using whatever tool in the garage that could clamp down. Well I had to remove a heater hose in a terrible location so I splurged and spent several dollars to buy these pliers. They were way easier than using my assortment of pliers. Being able to grip the clip with one hand and making adjustments with the same hand followed by the ratchet ability for it to hold the position allowed me to reposition myself to get a better grip and continue to release and reposition the clamp. I couldn't do this job without these pliers. They are cheap and easy to use. I should have purchased them 20 years ago.

I almost returned these because the one I really needed (the cable actuated one) wasn't working for me. I struggled with the others and some other tools I had, and went back to the cable one and made it work... I muttered to myself "you just saved yourself and your friends". There are two sets that have detents, which should be super handy, but the last detent isn't in the right spot, for either pair, so you wind up holding it by hand anyway. Regardless, for a DIYer like myself, they'll last long enough for me.
