Keeps the NVNME nice and chill

the cooling effect is just average. I am still getting 50+ deg C when the system is running idle.the surface on the contacting side is not smooth, i.e. many visible scratches.the thermal paste/strip is of average quality.Considering the above points I would say the price is not worth it.

Montage un peu difficile au début pour ma part, mais au bout du 3eme ca va quand même mieux.Produit esthétiquement et ergonomiquement bien finit. Efficacité rien à redire depuis le premier jusqu'au dernier acheté.Testé sur :-Rocket SABRENT 1TO.-SAMSUNG 1TO & 2TO 970, 970 evo plus 980 pro.-Crucial P2 1TOGlobalement températures inférieures que ça soit en charge ou en idle.Il serait dommage de se priver d'un produit pareil sur le NVME actuels.

I honestly didn't expect the high performance NVMe SSDs to run so much hotter than my existing m.2 SSDs. They do. I will also note that, while some high-performance motherboards have built-in fan-cooling for their m.2 slots, mine does not.I originally solved the heat problem by installing another case fan on the side panel but my new chassis is all tempered glass. I need to control the temperature another way. I ordered two of these heatsinks and they look amazing and work great.I want to thank the other reviewers who shared their tips. If not for the help of other reviewers, the "ease of installation" rating would have lost a star.The key points:-The clips have to be applied to in a specific direction. One side has a little more spring in it to clip on.-Remove the stickers from the samsung memory (front and back) with a heat gun or hair dryer.-The chips on the samsung modules are of uneven height. Use a mix of the thin and the thick thermal pads to get even contact. The package includes plenty of each.

Fit just right on my laptop MSi Apache PRO. A little bit tricky with snapping in those clips though as careful as I can be cuz I am afraid of squashing my M2.0 SSD but they fit perfectly. There is a thermal pad between the heatsink and the SSD. I don’t feel my laptop getting warmer on the touchpad area where the SSD lies inside anymore where it was used to without the heatsink.

Montage auf Crucial P1 1TB ist problemlos möglich (da einseitig bestückt), wenn man den Tip berücksichtigt, zuerst die kurze Seite der Klips einzuhängen. Dennoch ist ein wenig Krafteinsatz nötig. Die Kühlleistung entspricht den Erwartungen (Passivkühler).Betrifft nur die Verwendung im MacPro 2013 mit sintech-Adapter: die rückseitige Aluplatte muss hierzu um einige Millimeter auf der Seite des Adapters gekürzt werden.
