I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.Rosie enjoys her job working at the Lockhart Club and it is at the open night that she has helped organize that she spots Dexter, there is something that draws her eyes to him and soon neither can deny the connection. Rosie is curvy in every sense of the word and has some deep-down insecurities especially where men are concerned and with Dexter being a firefighter, she is convinced he will have to beat women off with a stick. Things are getting serious when she is injured badly, and she doesn’t think that Dexter will ever look at her the same way again. Will she allow her insecurities to destroy the once in a lifetime love that she has found, or can she see that what they have is a real love?Dexter went to the Lockhart Club run and owned by one of his best friends Jensen to support him at an open evening, he wasn’t expecting that it was the night that he was going to meet his one true love, being a firefighter there have been many women who have wanted him, but he was waiting for that one true love and once he spots Rosie, he knows without a doubt that she is the one woman he has waited all his life for. But just as things start to get serious tragedy strikes and the love, he has found feels like its slipping away, can he prove to Rosie that they are meant to be no matter what happens, or will he lose what he has waited a lifetime for?This was a sweet and sad story of love and acceptance; both characters were so easy to connect with and I really enjoyed their journey to each other and finally getting that HEA. 4* read.

They are both inexperienced when it comes to intimacy's due to the issue of weight.While Dexter has now become the lean, mean Greek God.Rosie has hidden herself & focused on her job in hospitality.When the club/hotel that she works at reopens. She ends up serving Dexter the Hunk firefighter.Dexter cannot keep his eyes off the curvy, hostess. He will do everything he can to get a date with this beauty.When Rosie realizes Dexter thinks she is beautiful. She first doubts that he is sincere. Not until they continue talking throughout the evening.Dexter gives him his number & makes sure he gets hers.The next day he has asked for that 2nd date.Their evening is magical in more ways then one. They lose their virginity to each other. Dexter has already decided this is his future wife.After a month being together in every sense.... Dexter has decided to purpose to Rosie after another passionate night together.Rosie excepts. Within a few hours things change... Rosie's building is called by the station house. Dexter could lose the love of his life. If the station house doesn't get to her apartment building in time.Within moments of losing oxygen both Dexter & Jared. They find Rosie clutching her neighbors baby in the bathtub filled with water.Dexter now has to save three people since his partner decided to give his remaining oxygen to the baby Rosie was saving.By the grace of the loveable giant. Dexter gets out with just his hair on fire. Jaden minor smoke insulation.Rosie survives but ends up having sever burns on parts of her body. When she realizes she will not look the same, she feels she is going to be a burden on Dexter. She choices to avoid him. She doesn't want him to sacrifice his life, on taking care of her.Will Rosie's family be able to convivence her that true love is in Sickness & in Health. That beauty is more than skin deep.Read this loving. sexy short of a man willing to do anything to get the woman he loves back into his arms.

I really enjoy reading this story. It was captivating and interesting. Rosie is a amazing woman! She is pretty, sweet, and brave. She can't believe he is talking to her! Dex is an amazing man! He is gentle, handsome, and sweet. He is instantly attractive to Rosie. Will they hit it off? What will happen next? Grab this book and find out. Great work Violet Rae!

I wanted a quick, steamy page-turner, and that is exactly what I got! This is easy to read, with great characters and a couple of adorable sweethearts that both have an insta-love connection.This was my first read from this author, but it won't be my last.

This has everything that I love in a book: safe, no OW/OM drama, DV, and instalove! A little sadness in there and very quick. Would love an extra epilogue but otherwise a great read!
