Very easy turning on/ off our outdoor Christmas lights this past winter. The worse the weather the more we loved this product!

We ended up using this remote control outlet in our garage for some of my husband’s tools, and it has been surprisingly convenient. Instead of having to reach behind equipment or go directly to the outlet every time he wants to turn something on or off, he can control the power right from the remote. Setup was simple and we didn’t have to do anything complicated to get it working. Once plugged in, the remote was easy to use and responded as expected. For a garage or workshop setup, I can definitely see the benefit, especially when an outlet isn't in the most convenient location or you have equipment that you don't want to leave powered on. The outlet and cord also feel substantial enough for the way we're using them. I like that this is marketed for outdoor use as well, although ours has primarily been used in the garage. This is one of those products we didn't necessarily realize would be so useful until we started using it. Being able to remotely control power to his tools has made his garage setup more convenient, and it saves him from constantly reaching around equipment to access the outlet. Simple idea, but very practical for our needs.

This outdoor remote control outlet has made managing my patio lights so much easier. The weatherproof design holds up in rain and cold, and the remote works from inside the house without issues. Easy to plug in and set up - handles multiple devices at once. Range is solid up to 100 feet, and it's great for holiday decorations too. Reliable and saves trips outside - worth having for any yard setup.

I guess what to expect really. It works well enough but the remote and the outlet housing is just made from cheap plastic. Probably just abs. I would like to see a more robust plug cord. I had it in a plug and the plastic covering the wires cracked and split apart. Mind you, it was only the outside covering and the individual wires appeared just fine. The temp was about 15 degree F so maybe it was a little brittle. They should use a different softer plastic for the cord. I have the remote in my house and the outlet in my detachted about 90 feet away and it works. It’s through a glass sliding door and the garage walls. It would work 100ft away if it didn’t have to go through doors or walls. I have to push the button a couple times and hold it up in the air but it works fine that way. Not sure how long the battery in the remote will last. It’s not a normal battery. One of those pancake ones. Update: was sent a replacement for the cracked cord without asking. The company contacted me and gave me a new device free of charge. The cord hasn’t cracked yet. Update to 4 stars. Distance of remote function didn’t change.

it really works!!! i dont count on somethings to work too well when they are priced so well this works grat from about 600 feet away it was a great price and it works i would recomend this product it works rain or sun shine go buy it!

Needed something with remote control to cut on Xmas lights in bed of pickup. Works great

I was hesitant to buy this product at first because I read several negative reviews, but the reviews on this one were better than similar products from other producers. I decided to take a chance. I even added a circuit to my garage to accommodate this product. So far I have been entirely satisfied, even delighted. I plugged it into the outlet box I created for it near the inside top of a "portable" metal garage. I plugged three 5000 lumen LED work lights into it and they come on every single time! I'm delighted that, as I drive towards the garage, the remote activates at about 200 feet, twice the distance stated in the Product Details (perhaps the open ended metal garage amplifies the signal?). One thing I am disappointed about: I ordered two of these hoping I could use the second remote in the car and keep the other in my house, thinking, surely they'll be use the same frequency. But this is not the case, they are two different frequencies. This in itself is not a bad thing, but it would be nice to be able to order an extra remote with the same frequency for different placements, or when ordering more than one, to be able to request whether the frequencies be the same or different. As is, I'll keep the other one in case the one in use malfunctions.

I ordered 2 of these and one worked the other didn't. Amazon sent a replacement the next day. They work just as you might hope. We have a lot of lighting in our yard and instead of running around turning stuff on or off I simply press a button. Oh the feeling of power! Worth every penny. And they're waterproof.

This outlet is awesome! I had my outdoor lights all hooked up to an app, which was fine for just me. However, it was very inconvenient when friends or family were visiting as they did not have access and I wasn't really keen on setting everyone up with the app and then providing them all with IT support. These work great and are easy for anyone to use! I ordered one to try it out and then ordered two more. It will be interesting to see how they do through the winter. But, so far, so good!

Funciona pero no es WiFi. Debes usar un control incluido. No me sirvió. No me percaté ese detalle al comprarlo.

I have several remotes but I can only plug in one cord. This one does 3 plugs. Makes my outdoor christmas decorating a lot easier and just stand inside house out of the weather to turn on and off. Love it.
