Birds are loving it!
The bird feeder is very busy since we tried happy beaks! The Robins, blue tits and tree sparrows seem to love it.

Good quality seed with little waste
Over the years I have bought numerous types of wild bird seed. With all of them I have found that a quantity of the seed is discarded and left uneaten. Birds can be surprisingly fussy! This brand of seed has been much better than most and I have found that there is very little waste. This may in part be because the feeder I am using has a large tray attached which means that it is able to be used by collared doves and wood pigeons which seem to be less fussy than smaller birds. I have found that the small birds prefer a different feeder which can only be accessed by small birds and which contains sunflower hearts, which they seem to prefer. This seed was also reasonably priced and I will certainly buy it again. My only grumble is that it is not completely "no mess". I have found grass growing underneath the feeder where some seeds have fallen. However, apart from this, this is good seed and I am happy to recommend it.

A much bigger bag than I expected, in a sturdy woven bag.
The media could not be loaded. A much bigger bag than I expected, I might have been warned if the weight was in English. There seems to be quite a mix of seeds here, I hope the birds like them. I will have to watch to ones on the feeder to see how may they throw. The seeds are mostly husk free so the birds should like them and there are also suet pellets in the mix which are really popular when birds have young. So far the ground feeders have been more active with this mix although I have also seen sparrows, tits and Starlings on the hanging feeder. Surprisingly our garden hedgehogs also have a much at this mix. I have not filmed the hanging feeders but I hope you enjoy what I have posted here.

This wild bird food is a great hit with our wildlife garden visitors!
I bought this 'Happy Beaks Robin & Songbird Wild Bird Food No Mess Seed Mix ' as it appeared to offer very good value for money ... but I had not realised just how popular it has proven to be not only with the small birds that visit our garden (robins, thrushes, tits, and blackbirds) but also with larger birds that seem to have a built in radar whenever I put out this food (pigeons, jackdaws and crows, jays & magpies). In addition a family of grey squirrels also seem to like this food! This leaves me with a dilemma ... do I buy greater quantities of this food and run the risk of attracting even more wildlife to our garden or do I restrict how much, and how often, I put this wonderful bird food out? However, one major benefit of this wild bird food is that there is no messy residue left on the ground ... partly because it is devoured so quickly by our garden visitors!

OK birdseed
I bought this as a high quality seed, recommended on on-line forums, as I thought it might be less wasteful than the cheap mix I usually buy. In fact, it was no more popular with the birds, with around a quarter being tossed from the feeder. Much less wasteful to buy a single seed in my experience.
