I really enjoyed the story. One of the things that is lovely is that the non-humanoid characters are treated the same as human characters with these kinds of books more often than not, a character that is not humanoid is treated like a pet even if there is intelligent as a human or an elf and he did not do that here and I really appreciate that. The story itself other than that, is a really good litrpg story

A fun and lighthearted look into the world of litrpg. Enjoyable characters, a welcome first book and I look forward to the next one.

I gotta admit. I'm a sucker for a good ol kingdom builder and a new magic system. This has both.

Nice read. Loved the quote from the film the replacements, a guilty pleasure of mine. Protagonists not overpowered. Will read the next one.

I'm very new to the litRPG genre. I have read a few dozen, and this has to be my favorite. Leo doesn't just solve his problems by combat, he uses his intelligence and wits, which I appreciate in a character. Hugh, the dragon is everything you would want in a travel companion and adorable. The System could be a book of its own! Its got a lot you can sink your teeth into!
