Fits like a glove
I am a retired accountant and long before all my work was done an a computer I got carpal tunnel in my writing hand. It started around 1990. That’s a long time ago. It does not pain me enough to want surgery but the pins and needles are very annoying. It comes and goes. Mostly it’s gone but it’s back from repetitive moving of unpacking the boxes I packed when I moved. It’s insane to come back from that. So I bought these new braces as I needed a smaller size. These are perfect. Light to wear, much less money than the usual ones I liked so well. I will buy another for each hand so I can wash and dry them and still have one to wear. I love the closer not being Velcro. I don’t know how long the wires will last but the design and workmanship work for me. I’m recommending because they are so comfortable and a slim line design works best for a small wrist.

Excellent product, quiet, and well made
Quick note: Excellent product, 2nd best wrist brace out there.AS a sufferer of tendonitis, having a wrist brace is a must. Over the years, I've had your typical Velcro brace that cannot be quietly adjusted and only has one adjustment strap. In the heading, I mentioned this is the 2nd best out there and I will tell you why, right now. Handexer makes pretty much the same brace but, it has leather on the outside and some metal hardware, in places this one does not. I have the right of the Handexer and the left of this one. This one isn't as comfortable, when its tight on your wrist and its because of the lack of the leather. Go check out the other brand and you will see what I'm talking about. It will cost you a little more but, it's worth it, in my opinion. Also, I uploaded a video of the tightening on that model, which this one works the exact same way.My right hand is causing most of my problems right now so, I'm using the Handexer but, I'll use this one on my left, when needed. Note, neither brand are reversible so, you cannot use it on both hands. The BOA tightening system is excellent, only makes the sounds of winding up your kids tiny toy car so, your wife isn't woke up in the middle of the night, when you remove your wrist brace. Most importantly, the BOA system tightens in 3 areas on your wrist, by your knuckles, in the middle of your hand, and again above your wrist. Both models are great but, the Handexer fits better upon tightening.

It's pretty good
So I love the aqua and black colors because they look nice together.I am used to the wrist braces that you slide your hand in, or the ones that you wrap with velcro. This is the first time I've ever had one that could be adjusted with a string. I didn't think there was any way that this could work effectively, but it does. The brace itself is very good at keeping your wrist in line. Once you have your wrist in it, the little wheel tightens up what appears to be black fishing line. You push the wheel down and twist it clockwise to tighten it, and pull the wheel up, twisting it backwards, to release it.I was genuinely surprised at how tight this can get with such a small string. The only concern I have is how long this string will last. It's not like there's an option b if this line breaks, and it doesn't seem that there's any way to fix it if that happens. Once the line goes, the brace will essentially be useless as it does not have any elasticity. There is also a silk style lining to protect your flesh from the line as it's being tightened. That lining is sometimes difficult to keep adjusted. But once it's in place, the brace is perfect. To keep the line from getting snagged on everything when you put this in a drawer, it would have been nice to have a small bag for it. As for now though, I'm happy with it. I was able to type just fine while wearing it.

Better for keeping my wrist straight (carpal tunnel) than for the arthritis in the base of my thumb.
This lightweight wrist brace is advertised as being “for Tendonitis, Arthritis, Injuries, Wrist Pain” as well as “support of carpal tunnel”. I got it because I thought it might help the severe, painful arthritis I have at the base of my thumb. Well, it doesn’t really help my thumb’s arthritis. It does help to keep my wrist straight so maybe I won’t have any more carpal tunnel problems in my left hand. I had surgery for that issue in both of my hands several years ago. This brace appears to be made fairly well. I still worry that the “fishing line” adjustment string will break because it looks so thin to me. As long as I don’t accidentally cut it, then I should be OK.

Comfortable
This wrist brace appears to be nicely made with all stitching intact. I received the brace for my left wrist. These can not be used on both wrists. You do need a right and a left. The material is soft and breathable. It has a dial to tighten or loosen the brace. There is a metal or hard plastic inside to form to your hand and wrist. It also has a soft silky material that goes over your wrist. The criss cross tightening "straps/string", is very thin but strong and reminds me of fishing line.I did have an issue with opening it to fit my hand in. But a little trip to the description page and viewing the video, I was able to see how to loosen it. Pull the dial up to loosen. Push down and turn to tighten. It would be helpful to add that to the instruction card. This is well made and worth the price
