It was very small

Love this thing...great product

For what it cost this is a fine cooking tool. However as many have stated it is small. You better get an onion smaller than a baseball maybe even smaller than a tennis ball to use this. Does it work? Yes, shortly it works great just limited to smaller onions. Since its rarely used its worth the cost compared to kits 3x4 times mores money. Need dinky onions. 2 7/8" or 2.875" or 73mm max size. The smallest sweet onions I can find are 3 1/2" or 76mm. I know you can peel the onion but that is a waist unless you have a immediate use for your waisted onion peel.

We saw a version of an Onion Blossom Maker on TV at a much higher price and were pleased to see this one advertized at a much lower cost. However, when it arrived it is much smaller than imagined and can only work on small onions and apples, which defeats the overall concept. The dimensions provided in Norpro ad are misleading. I took the height to mean the diameter. The Blossem Maker is circular and yet the company gives the dimensions in height, width and length, which is incorrect. They should provide the diameter which is the most important piece of information.

Good product

It’s too small not worth what I paid for this item. I ended up having to cut my onions with the knife alone. When I received my item the box was all torn up. I was lucky it was not broken. However I don’t recommend buying it. Not worth it!!!

Oh man I love this. It is too small to fit over the onions so I just used it to hold them down and add a guide. Worked like a charm.
