Bought this for my cousin and she loved it! She uses it for soccer.

My daughter uses this all the time for her soccer events. Not only for her hair. She has used for knee compression as well.

This athletic tape is indeed foamy. It stretches very well and mostly sticks to itself, although the end needs to be pulled really tight for best adhesion. I ordered the pink but I am surprised that is it sparkly. I did not expect that. Overall, it is so-so. It is a thin foam but does not tear even when stretched. I just don't know how well the adhesion will hold at the end over time.

As an under-wrap/pre-wrap, it works great. Sticks to itself just long enough to wrap your sports tape/bandage wrap/ace bandage/etc. on top of, the foam makes it a tad more breathable (YES!) and it does not stick to me like glue and cause pain or irritation when it is time to take the wrap off. I'm sold! Wish I'd known this stuff existed a long time ago! By the way, expect to use scissors if you respect straight lines, and don't expect to wear it alone if you expect it to stay in place.
