Zane has surprised me at every turn - with every poem - in (he)art. It’s a powerfully raw and emotional book that had me saying “Ooh” and “Aw” so many times!“Ooh” as in “Ooh, no he didn’t!” And “Ooh, this is so beautifully written!”.And “Aw” as in “Aw, that’s so cute!” and “Aw, I want to cry!”***I tried marking my favorite poems but, a few pages in, I began to realize I made a mistake. By the time I got to the end of marking my absolute favorites, I had pretty much marked every page! No lie, I have proof!The way he writes his poems is what I would call magical because he utilizes each word and each line to create the emphases and impact in his poems...without the use of traditional punctuation!How can it not be magic?***I admit to being overly excited BEFORE I started reading this book. Now, I’m not sure where I am...Maybe somewhere floating in Cloud 9?

This book was absolutely phenomenal. I cannot recommend this work of art enough. I must've bookmarked or added notes to almost every poem written in there. I don't think I have related to someone's feelings of heartbreak, falling in love, or finding out about one's priorities and reasons to exist this much ever. You can tell each little story and word was written with passion and love... and it honestly made me feel like I was reading Rupi Kaur's poems in a way. I highly, highly recommend buying this book for either yourself or a loved one. A true gem of literary art.

What a moving, powerful, and honest collection of words this was. I was shocked on how relatable and in depth the author wrote their experiences while manifesting them into life lessons. I enjoyed reading each individual segment about love and hurt. This is a great piece to read while taking a bath or sitting in a small coffee shop. Truly, there's no better way to reflect on your own life than to read through someone else's. I highly, strongly, and honestly hope this book reaches out to more people to get the recognition it deserves.

The poems that Zane has wrote for this book are so honest and real. I couldn’t put it down and found myself highlighting many of the poems so I could go back and read them again. I can’t wait to read his other works. I purchased this on kindle but will be buying a hard copy also! Definitely recommend this!

This collection is nothing other than a beautiful heartache. For their first published work, it’s wonderful & deep. I felt the pain in each poem.Though it could have done with maybe another round of edits.I really enjoyed this collection & look forward to more work from this author!

GET THIS BOOOK ! this book is so amazing . i got this book and i don’t read that many books and if i do that means it’s absolutely really good so in my opinion i think it’s absolutely amazing ! i read it daily and i re read the book when i finish :)

It was a good read, I read it in one night while I was at work. As someone going through a heartbreak it was something for me. Not exactly what I expected but I am glad I got the opportunity to read it.

(he)art. is truly one of a kind. i am a huge reader and have read many poetry books, but none have stood out like this one. the honesty prevails in the writing, allowing you to connect with zane along the lines of the times he experienced pain, love, and growth. it feels as if he is sitting right next to you telling the story of his life. this book deserves all the recognition and success! a must read

Just like Zane's other collection- "i am tired of being a dandelion", (he)art was well, full of so much heart (pun intended), vulnerability, and sincerity. I found myself relating to basically every poem in some way or another and I'm sure any prospective reader will too. Definitely exceeding my expectations!
