When I buy bikes I end up replacing almost every part except for frame and wheelset because I mod them for transportation usage on pavement. Well, on this bike I had to cough up another $200 to replace the wheelset after 15 months because the spokes started popping loose because they were disintegrating according to my LBS guy. Pacific Cycles/Mongoise…do better!

After four months the frame broke at the base of the seat post. There is also a persistent squeaking sound around the centre or rear of the frame. I cannot locate the exact source. A piece of the coil spring also broke off at the base. The front suspension also continues to make an irritating squeaking noise

I contacted the seller about the bike and the answer was very satisfactory. The bike was very easy to put together. 100% recommended

Rides nicely on grassy & uneven/rocky terrain, with good grip (see pic). Smooth ride on even concrete paths too. The gears shift smoothly and makes it easier to pedal. Definitely helps with biking on hills. Took a couple hours to assemble. Manual wasn't straightforward or well-detailed. It was easier for my husband to install it due to his previous bike-assembly experience. Some of the tools were dull. So, he had to use his own tools too. Good high-pressure tires and added some air to about 45 PSI on his initial bike ride on a somewhat rocky bike trail. Can add up to 65 PSI for riding on a smooth hard road. This bike's 17-inch frame is great size for his 6'2 athletic frame. I tried using it and my petite legs are much too short to comfortably ride or even sit on this bike at its lowest seat level. Recommended.
