Great for everyday wear and long walks, the Highline II Mens Shoes are comfortable and durable. They have a synthetic suede-mesh upper with mesh lining for added breathability and moulded EVA footbed for comfort. The outsole is flexible and long-lasting.Ref: 053146.250430

Shoes
Had bought a pair of shoes the same a year ago so knew they would fit okay. As I use them in the garden a lot they were a bit worn so decided to get another pair as they are really comfortable. Don’t think they will last for years but they are reasonable priced and well worth it.

Value in this price bracket.
Good quality walking trainers. Comfortable and supportive. Well worth the money, initial impression. After lengthy country walk, find sole could be firmer, especially under the ball of my foot. Could feel trail surface especially where uneven. This is disappointing as it has made me deduct a star from my rating.

Never bought before but...
I don't actually hike at all. I tend to buy these style trainers for work purposes & they're usually very good or very bad. Nothing in between & so far for the price range they seem to be interested very good camp.

Falling apart
1 month old a shoes are falling apart the sole is detached on the left shoe on the front inside edge ..not great for 1 month old, I know they are relatively cheap but clearly not fit for purpose...shame cos they are very comfy.

Excellent for the broader foot - but suspect durability
So far I'm very pleased with these - had them about one week now and wear them on my daily morning walks.I bought them mostly because it looked like they are a broader than usual fitting and so they have proved. I have pretty broad feet- between size 10 and 11 depending on style/ brands - and really struggle to find shoes and trainers etc that are wide enough to be comfortable without having to go up several sizes and compromises the fit in other areas.I went for a size 11 in these and the fit is very good. Plenty of room in the toe to be comfortable and generously wide enough not to pinch and rub. I'm really pleased having bought them online without trying first. As another reviewer wrote, they are a bit stiff initially but should soften up a bit over time. They seem well and robustly constructed and look like they should last for many miles. I look forward to doing some longer hikes in them when we have better weather. Really pleased!Update After 6 months==================After 6 months of ownership I'm reducing my initial 5 stars review to 3 stars due to being unimpressed with the durability of these shoes. After only 6 months of use they're toast! The lining and inside of the sole on one of them has completely disintegrated at the heel as shown in the attached picture. And most of the tread on the sole has gone and has developed a sole letting in stones which then, due to the disintegrated inner liner get into the shoe itself. I've been using them most days for a morning wall - but only about a mile or so on pavements, with the odd longer walk on tracks. I would not expect a so called 'walking shoe' to wear out in this manner on this usage. I have a pair of trainers I've practically worn the soles off of over about 10 years of ownership and regular use - with many miles or running and the inside of these is still fully intact! The inner liner of these Mountain Warehouse shoes is actually lose I find - not glued/ attached to the bottom of the sole in any way. And the top of the sole seems very flimsy. So a bit of rubbing between the two and they just disintegrate like this. Not at all as robuts as I was hoping and they initially seemed.Still they were comfy and a decent fit as long as they lasted.
