The wooden wick burns slowly and creates an interesting flame. The sandlewood fragrance is beautiful and I love the black wax, it's a mysterious deep colour. I have read some of the other reviews - personally I like the simplicity of this product, points for no wasted plastic packaging. But if you do want to give it to someone as a gift you could always wrap it? I’m really pleased with it. It’s a really nice minimal design with an unusual wide wooden wick that burns an attractive flame.
