Our son loves airplanes and flying them around so this toy was a big hit with him. An added fun detail is that there is they light up with the flip of a switch in cool colors! They fly quite far and are a lot of fun. Great outdoor toy to enjoy.

Oh, the frustration! When this launcher arrived we were in the midst of a weeklong period of rain and thunderstorms. The nieces and nephews were champing at the bit to try these out but we couldn’t find a long enough dry spell for them to play outside. Which allows me to make this point: these are only for outside play – not inside, not ever!Once you have an opportunity to play with these make certain that you have plenty of space for the dinosaurs to fly and for the kids to fully enjoy them. Make sure you show the kids how to use them, not just for instructional purposes, but also to make sure you get your turn to have some fun, too!The launcher allows you to shoot off the dinosaurs in two different modes: one that allows the “planes” to glide at long distances, the other launches the flyer in a sort of loop de loop pattern. These both work as described and provide plenty of fun and excitement for children of all ages.We have a large open area behind the kids’ home. We have measured most of the flights from the launcher to be at least 45 feet. The dinosaur designs are bright and colorful and they are soft enough to avoid any real damage; but always take full precautions not to shoot at one another to avoid any injuries. These are toys but even toys can cause pain if used improperly.There is a large selection of plane designs from which to choose. We picked the dinosaur design because the kids are into all things dinosaur. Some of the other designs feature lights and other decals so be sure to check out which particular features would be most attractive to your kid or kids.The planes are easy to assemble and ready for play within a few minutes. Please pay attention to instructions and be ready to provide assistance with the launcher for the smaller kids. We have had only a very small amount of “misfires” with the launcher and that’s been because the littlest child had difficulty and mistakenly aimed it down instead of out.This set is very affordable and even offered with a 40% off Amazon coupon at the time of this review. This comes with the launcher, 3 plane bodies, 3 wings, 3 elevators, 3 sets of stickers for the assembled planes, and a small instruction sheet.Assembly involves sliding the wings and elevator pieces into the plane bodies. You can install the elevator piece in one of two ways. The first way is supposed to make the plane fly level, and the second way is supposed to make the plane do loops.I didn't apply any of the stickers yet. The sticker sets are all the same except for the colors.The planes are made from a tough, springy Styrofoam type of material.To launch a plane you pull back the slide on the bottom of the launcher, then mount the airplane in the top slot on the launcher, then aim where you want the plane to go and pull the trigger.I had installed the elevator for level flight on 2 of the planes. Both of them dove into the ground shortly after launch. The instructions tell you to bend up the back of the elevators when this happens, but the material is a bit springy so I haven't got them flying fully level yet.The other plane I set up to loop, but it flew more in a wave pattern before diving to the side. It also needs the elevators bent up some more.I plan to play with them more to try and get them flying as they should.You can also hand throw them or use a slingshot instead of using the launcher.

My family has mixed reviews on this product. My 9-year old struggled to get this to work and had a hard time pulling the lever back to use. I had to help her several times. I'm not sure if we were using it wrong, but it only flew several feet. After reading some other reviews, we'll try it again to see if we can get it to work better. My daughter almost broke it a few times trying to pull it back. This does not seem to be a favorite toy of my kids.

Each dinosaur plane has stickers to make faces. There are also stickers for the wings and the tail. They were easy to put together. the planes are made from a sturdy styrofoam. However, however the launcher is a little bit difficult for a young child to locked into place.Our son did break the gliding rail off of one of the planes when he was trying to load it on the gun.They glide well. However, I would say they fly faster and farther if you just throw them yourself versus using the launcher.

This is a fun toy and the kids (and I) love it.Easy to launch for even the 3 year old and glides smoothly and fairly far.It would be nice to have multiple guns so the kids can have flying competitions.

We had a birthday party for 3 kids in the family, and we got the PADONISE 3 Pack Dino Airplane Launcher Toys, because there were 3 of them - 1 for each kid. We liked it because it was for a range of ages that all 3 kids could enjoy it. AND, I'm told, it had stickers that the kids could put on them. (But more than 1 present was present, lol, so it's certainly possible the stickers came from elsewhere.) Oh - the airplanes are soft, reducing the injury potential, and like the ad states, they don't require batteries, so that's always welcome on toys.

Got these for my kid to play with outside and he really likes them. They launch surprisingly far, and he really liked how the planes have LED lights, it looks really cool when it gets darker. That being said they are just cheap LED strips on the outside and very susceptible to damage, one of them stopped working after the first launch. All of the planes still fly great though.

My son wanted to try these for a bday party we got these and another kind that was just planes. These were a bigger hit with the fun faces/dragon type theme. We did try them when it was quite windy out so that seemed to throw them off kilter but otherwise they were easy enough to use and made the kids laugh. Age 11ish. Hope to try to use them a little more before the weather turns and test them out when it isn't windy.

My girls are 4 and 6 and really love these airplanes. They enjoyed decorating them with the stickers before we tested them out. The lights are a cool feature they really liked, however they only worked on 2 out of the 3 airplanes.I let them test fly them inside, but they are definitely better suited to outside unless you have a large open design. My 4 year old was not able to set the gun by herself as it takes a bit of force to load it. My 6 year old could do it herself though. They both love shooting them from the gun (I would load it for my 4 year old), but also love just throwing them by hand as well. I wouldn’t recommend them for under 4 years old as they would struggle using the gun, but also because they are made of dense styrofoam, which keeps them lightweight but also makes them somewhat easy to break if they don’t understand how to handle them properly.They fly pretty far, but could probably get more distance if I play around with the set up. It’s a little confusing which way to put them for glide mode.Overall, they are a fun toy that my kids are enjoying, but I feel that they are overpriced at the current price of $28.99CAD.

These were a gift for a 7 year old boy. He had a great time flying them with his friends. They are made of foam and light so not dangerous for kids. They fly quite far and are fast and colorful so great fun for kids. Overall I recommend these as a fun toy.

Simple fun little toy. The launcher (gun), is well built. It doesn’t feel cheap at all. I like the feel of it. The planes are pretty good. It’s foam, can’t expect much but the LED is a nice touch. It is a bit finicky, doesn’t light up sometimes. Maybe the battery is weak or loose connection. The plane launches about over 10 feet. It would be more sweet if you have the space.
