After a Christmas Special involving Kylie Minogue and a Space-going Titanic, the Doctor runs into Donna Noble again. She has been risking danger, investigating things likely to involve the Doctor in the hopes she can be his next companion. They share adventures involving new aliens the Ood and old-timers the Sontarans, to mention just two. We also meet Professor River Song for the first (and last?) time. Series 4 ends with a two-part finale where the Doctor and Donna need assistance from every companion from this era so far, plus the Torchwood and Sarah Jane Adventures teams, to foil the latest Dalek plan.Extras include the Doctor Who Confidential behind-the-scenes shorts usually broadcast following each episode, plus cast video diaries and a Children In Need short.

I'm a massive Series 4 fan, and have been since 2008. So yes absolute perfection.

I cried when this doctor died, not only because I will miss him, but because David Tennant expresses so well the universal struggle with death that all of us face. The wanting to stay, the yearning to do more, and the inevitability of coming to the end. It is as serious and heart-wrenching as any Shakespearean soliloquy, and as well done as only a great man who understands life could do it.

Series 4 is the best series since Doctor Who returned to the TV. I specifically like Turn Left and Midnight episodes. It's a shame that Donna had to lose her memories in order to survive. She is one of the best companion. I would have hoped Donna would have a significant role in the End of Time specials but unfortunately she was very much negligible. I really miss Donna

Series 4 of Doctor Who is the best, shame they did not make a series 5.

Arguably one of the best doctors. Personally. Tom baker was mine but never mind.... Love series 4. Love dr who

yes, it's season 4, the last one with David Tennant, the10th doctor.It's wonderful and great like the others and in hd version too... so better than ever.It has many good qualities, but i hoped, specials were included, or just the christmas specialwith the regeneration to Matt Smith, 11th Doctor, but it seems I have to buy another pack for that.So I'm very happy, but a little disappointed for the missing final episodes.I seriously suggest everyone who loves WHO and Tennant's Doctor to buy it, but for the missing stuff i can't give 5 stars.Sorry.
