My 8 year old daughter can use it.
The media could not be loaded. * I only tried circle one. No use for the square press.I make pot stickers several times a month at home and kids love them. My daughter (she was 8 when I shot the video) wanted me to teach her how to make pot stickers. I tried, really hard but seems it was too hard for a 8 year old girl. So I bought this Ravioli press. It was easy--the video was her 2nd try. No trouble at all.4 star because it won't cut and seal. It cuts but doesn't seal well. It doesn't matter for us because we were making pot stickers. My daughter manually seal the edge while re-shape a little so it look like a pot sticker. But if you are making Raviolis, this might be a problem.Another thing, it's hand wash only. do not put in dish wash. It doesn't matter. I just use brush to brush off the flour and store it.Thank you for reading my review. If you find it useful, please vote “Yes” on “Was this review helpful to you”. Not good cutters at all!!
I bought these because I wanted to try my hand at homemade raviolis without using my mother's machine. When I received them, I was very anxious to use them but life got in the way and I didn't get around to trying them until several weeks later. I finally got around to using them last night. What a disaster. I bought $23 worth of lobster meat and the ricotta, etc to make lobster ravioli. I made my pasta dough, used my Kitchenaid pasta attachment to make the pasta sheets, and I got to work. These cutters were very dull and didn't cut through the sheets of pasta. I had to run a knife around the outside of the cutter to make the ravioli. Also, the rim of the cutter does not press the ravioli together leaving you to have to pinch around the entire perimeter of the ravioli by hand. Many of them fell apart in the water and I ended up with ricotta and very expensive lobster meat floating in the water. What a waste of time and money. Unfortunately, my return window is closed or else these suckers would go right back.

Broken Rollers and Metal Shavings
I was very excited to use this. It came on time. When I opened the box to inspect it, the rollers were off kilter. I decided to try to fix it myself, and was able to get the rollers back on Thur pins and put to back together. Today I decided to try it out. I chose to follow the recipe for pasta dough that came with the machine. The recipe calls for 2 cups of flour and 5 room temp eggs. I thought the eggs sounded a bit excessive but went with it, only to find I was correct. The dough was VERY sticky. I got the dough to a usable point by gradually Kneading in flour. When I tried to roll out the dough, there were metal shavings in the pasta. On inspection you can see where the chrome coating on the rollers is peeling away. I then tried to. Clean it and have yet to figure out how to get all the dough out without taking it completely apart.

Stuck wand!
I just received the pasta drying rack today and the wand is completely stuck! It is in the position where it is supposed to be located, in the center top of the device, but unfortunately it does not come out, and I even tried for 10mn with 2 pairs of pliers as well as some oil to try to losen it. Very annoying to say the least. Their QA department must be totally inexistent - seriously it’s not that hard to QA a pasta drying rack!Apart from that the legs seem flimsy. The arms and associated mechanism to open them up and the body seem fine.Maybe you will have a better experience than mine.

Lightweight and effective
We love to make ravioli and have used a ravioli wheel for several years now. I like the ravioli wheel because I can make any size ravioli I want, and with a stamp, I am stuck to one size (or so I thought).Though the ravioli wheel works well, I often ended up with not so perfectly sealed ravioli that bursts in my simmering salted water - not cool! So I finally decided that I could give a stamp a try. This set worked great! the stamps are lightweight and the crimping edge is wider than my ravioli wheel so I get more grip and better seal. I made 5 dozen ravioli and not a single one burst! that was a first! I was so excited to see how simple it was to use the stamps and how pretty they looked. For smaller size ravioli I made mezza luna shape - a good size for the kiddos. So far they work well, I only wash them by hand.

Good quality and great price.
Well made, as expected. These arrived timely and I was very eager to see and use them. I love them. I recently took a raviolli making class and these are the ones the chef used and had sets for each student. I’m glad I found them on amazon. Well made and sturdy and perfectly sized. I told my friend who took the clas with me and she will be ordering as well. I am very happy with these. Just make sure you flour the fresh pasta dough to prevent sticking and give it a quick small turn and the cut is clean. I moisten the edge of each raviolli before placing the cover pasta on as instructed by the chef in class and these work perfect!, I recommend it, and already told my classmates about it. Very good product and well made. By the way, I was not paid, or given anything for this review. Highly recommend it, and I’m looking at other products by this company.

Super easy and very sturdy
Made three different types of ravioli the first try. Pasta dough is easy to make and easy to buy. Add some spinach and cheese or carmelized butternut squash with onion and walnuts and of course one with your favorite ground meat and seasonings.Super easy to use, lay the pasta dough on the metal stand, lay the plastic tray on top and press, take it off, add filling and then and the next layer of pasta and press with a rolling pin as you roll it which cuts and seals these little delicious pillows of joy! Toss on a floured tray while you make the rest and then cook or freeze them!Great product!

Material is lacking
The aluminum material was lightweight and thin. Each square was indented deep enough to put in filling for making raviolis and wontons. Afterwards, I would just have to push the rolling pin over lid top to form individual pasta pieces. The aluminum scratched easily, so I think I would invest in a stainless steel-based tray instead.

Meh…
The mention of it meeting the “maximum” lead requirement sort of puts me off. Why do you need lead? And the tray it self just seems kinda… leady? So I’m sort of nervous to use it. It seems to be the best one I can find on here, and does the trick decently, but my socks were not blown off.
