I have an 8” twin mattress for it, but I also ordered a pad to go under it so that the mattress isn’t sitting directly on the floor ( it hasn’t arrived yet when I took the photos). My daughter is 14 months old and loves her new bed! I looked at a ton of beds before ordering this one to transition her out of her crib. We honestly cosleep a lot since she is still breastfeeding but this bed is perfect because I can lay down with her and nurse her to sleep then leave the bed. Also I read reviews where people had trouble taking the weight limit sticker off, but I honestly got it off pretty easily using hot water and a washcloth. Overall I am very happy with the bed, I ordered canopy bed drapes for it and am very excited to put them on when they get here!
