Thi is the second one I've bought as I gave my last one away to someone getting into mountain biking to encourage them a little into maintenence. Great bit of kit Yes some pieces aren't the best in the world but ye can't argue at this price. I tend to be somewhat heavy handy and so far all the tools have survived without issue. I've used them on mine and my daughter's mountain bikes, mine not ao bad but my daughters a lil rough as her mother leaves it out in the rain so rust and seized parts, but again no issue for the tools in the kit. I do and have owned Park Tool and ali express gear and this kit is slap in the higher middle of the two. So if ye wanna give maintenence and or on a budget grab it, can't really go wrong.

Has everything you need for basic bike maintenance, only used a few of the tools so far but they're well made as far as I can tell.

I agree with other users, the tool set in general is better quality than other available tool set, however, the chain breaker’s quality is horrible, you can’t use it to break modern bike chains, especially 11 speed and plus, you will feel ultra frustrated and break both your tool and possibly your bike. I bought a high quality chain breaker to replace it, hope the brand listen to user’s feedback and upgrade the breaker as soon as possible.

Cracking quality set of tools. Quality locks on the case as well. I will buy more tools from this supplier of the same brand as they are not monkey steel. Nice rubber over the steel gives real quality feel.

Handy to have

It's a decent set of tools that covers most of the repairs you can do at home. Well designed case, lots of tools. Sadly, there are a couple of issues. If you're after a BB tool, you're better off looking elsewhere, as this one's a bit flimsy. The chain breaker is pretty poor quality too – it broke at the first use.

I have found the chain link was alright, I only realised that there was a couple things I never used like the chain clasp pliers, which would have been useful, if I knew before hand, it would have been easier, I however used a few of the items, but I do like it, it is better than the ones I used to have.

Perfectly adequate for the price. One tool that could be helpful to a lot is a 36mm spanner for older style cup and cone bb. I had to buy one separately. But all good really. Compliment my other tools and have been useful and no faults.

Solid kit, obviously not Park Tool quality but decent stuff and everything I needed to rebuild my older bike doing a 3x9 to 1x9 conversion. Should be handy to have around for any future maintenance and with the prices I was quoted from the bike shop for a basic tune up let alone a drivetrain swap it was outrageous I’m so much happier I just bought this and it’s really fun to work on your own bike and take pride in it and get to know how everything works. I’d recommend it to anyone, it will get the job done and if any tools wear out or you find yourself using them a lot you’ll be able to figure out what you want to actually end up dropping more money on to get something higher quality but this absolutely gets the job done I have no complaints. If I spent like $300+ like some of the high end brand tool kits I’d nit pick some things but for what this costs it totally met and exceeded realistic expectations. Is this something that is going to be passed down to your grandkids? No. Is this going to provide you with the tools you need to work on your bike yourself and learn instead of paying hundreds of dollars for someone else at the local bike shop to do it? Absolutely! If you’re on a budget and wanting to work on your bike this is a solid starting point with pretty much everything you’d need and you can build off of it as you go, fire up YouTube and start tinkering!!
