Pretty, but not practical
It's too big for driving. Even for spreading out in the dining room table. We ended up downloading Google maps on our iPhones instead. Another flaw: the map is missing Athens; I would think most people would be driving down from Athens, as we did, and it would be nice to see which highways to take exiting that city. This is the kind of map you'd want to hang on the office wall. It really has no other use.

Giant!
This map was far bigger than expected, but very detailed. It's usfullness remains to be determined, awaiting our travel to the area.

Detailed and accurate
We used this map during a 2 week driving trip around the Peloponnese. We found it very detailed, easy to read and helpful as we like to get off the beaten bath.In fact one of the problems we had with it was that it was so large and detailed that it was rather unwieldy at times especially in the confines of a compact car.Another problem was that it wasn't long before the paper began to tear at the folds.Fortunately it still held up for the length of time we needed it but bringing along a roll of clear tape may be a good idea. All in all I was very glad we had such a map with us for this trip.If there were any inaccuracies we didn't find them.

Very useful on driving thru Peloponnese in 2018
Very useful on driving thru Peloponnese in 2018. Map started falling apart though. Doesn't like to be folded which must be done when using it in a car. That was a bummer.

Good map. Not for solo driving
Many of the prior comments are spot on. I relied on GPS for getting to places. But I like having a map as a backup. One person couldn’t easily use it while driving. I’m the navigator so I could look at the map as my wife drove. Good, detailed map. But anything Greek is tough b/c there’s traditional or Ancient Greek, current coloquial Greek and English. And sometimes they spell towns two or more ways (Nafplia). But the map is good (and big unfolded).

Huge with lots of detail
Lots of detail on this huge map. It shows both tiny villages where my Greek grandparents were reared. I will be using this in an art project, so I very pleased.

Fantastic detail but HUGE
It's wonderful to have a map with this much detail but it is really so enormous it takes up almost my entire dining room table when fully open. Not a convenient size for a road map. Would have been better as two maps.

However map has really good detail and is better than a Rick Steve's gas ...
Screwed up when I bought this. Actually wanted all of Greece. However map has really good detail and is better than a Rick Steve's gas station map which lacks detail.

Helpful if big
OK so this is a vast map. If you're in the car and you find yourself needing to change sides (half the map is on one side, half on the reverse) then you either need to stop the car, and preferably have someone else in the car to help you, or else pass it to the kids in the back as we did and then shout at them when it takes them longer than you were hoping. The one good thing is that it does fold up well in either direction so if you're mainly in the south (as we were) then you can just re-fold the map so the south is the bit you see when you open it up.My main criticism is that the historic sites are quite hard to find - they should be printed larger than the towns. Trying to find them becomes like a Greek Map version of Where's Wally. Fortunately we bumped into some friends who had hired a Hertz car and they gave me their map which showed the historic sites much more clearly, and then I just used the F&B map to help get us there. It could have done with some town maps perhaps. We got totally lost in Sparta trying to find Mystra and ended up driving round in circles trying to find sign posts. But if you're going to be driving round a lot and haven't got a sat nav (and even if you have) then this is a very useful tool.

Good map but too large.
We intended to tour the sites and historical areas of the Peloponnese. The map arrived quickly, but on opening it out,it quickly became aparent that it was much too large to unfold in a car. I unfolded it on our landing. The detail on the map is excellent, and the signage is mainly in Greek, with English in smaller letters. This, and any other maps are best used with a gps device. Use the map to select the route and then the gps to guide you there. To digress for a moment. The Peloponnese is a stunning area of Greece, with loads of ancient history all around the area. The Langada Pass is just about the most spectacular area that we have ever encountered anywhere. However, the roads are very scary, and have to be taken with respect and caution. Full 360 deg U bends (within a turn of a few feet), rock faces and sheer drops on the other side with no barriers. Back to the map. If it wasn't so big I would give it 4 stars for detail, but, believe me, it really is too big. I resorted to folding it into sections of about A4,but then all the creases are in the wrong places. Hope this helps.

Way out of date now (in 2018).
Out of date. Motorway toll roads are more extensive. It's large scale, but other maps (Greek) may have just as much information packed more closely. Lack of relief is awful. It looks as if it shows relief at first, and then you realise its just a sort of "ripple effect" all over. A country road a few km long that you think will not take long can easily involve going down a deep gorge and up the other side, with hairpin bends and rocks falling from the cliffs. Also, terrible paper - splits on folds almost straight away.

Very good but very big
Took this map more as a back up to my Sat Nag. It was useful in general planning but as others have highlighted, it is very big and it isn't practical for use on the go. It's great for getting out when you're at day's end for planning purposes, and of course you can fold it as required if you need your navigator to have it out while driving. Can't really fault it other than its ginormity!

Excellent Large Scale Map
I bought this map because I wanted a large scale, detailed map showing minor roads as well as major ones. Ok, so it's big but if you fold it down to the area you need before getting into the car, it works fine. I used the bed in the hotel room to plot the route and fold the map to a manageable size and we didn't get lost once for the whole 2 weeks so it did it's job admirably well.
