Saturn V Flight Manual

Wow!
Yes, I am a space nut. It's a great book that has a level of detail you will have to look hard to match. It covers just about anything you would want to know about the booster. Just be aware that the LM and CSM are only addressed slightly, but there are others manuals for those. It even discusses launch towers, ground support systems and mission control. You can impress your coworkers with details about how the IU sublimator worked. Yes, it is that detailed. My only gripe is that the index in the back ends at the letter L. Almost like a couple of pages got cut off. Not a big problem.

Wow, what a manual. Brought back memories.
This is the NASA manual, what more can you say! A good pilot/crew reference, so as a historical document it is awesome. As most hardcopy manuals from the 60's and early 70's very densely packed information on each page. Had to dig out reading glasses to see the diagrams clearly. Well worth the price, for such history. Planning a trip to the NASA museum and will have manual in-hand.

Wonderful information-you'll want to go Hug a Rocket!
If you're a Space following guy or gal you will love this. Actually handed out as the first systems guide to Astronauts and NASA personnel. Of course they ended up reading a stack of manuals that followed, but this covers all systems to give you a real inside view of the greatest machine man has ever built-the mighty Saturn V!

Apollo 8 specific manual
Very good reproduction of the Apollo 8 Saturn V flight manual. Definitely worth eleven dollars! It's dated November 1968 with NASA document number MSFC-MAN-503 and if you just want a PDF NASA has that for free online. If you're looking for the later Apollo missions you'll want MFC-MAN-507 or -508.

Very good reproduction of the original
Very good reproduction of the original. I don't know what size that was, but at 8x10, this is a good size for an overview manual. Answers lots of questions about the evolution of the Saturn series of rockets. The only chart I was hoping to see but didn't was the one the "FIDO" was looking at in the movie "Apollo 13) when the center J-2 went out on the S-II stage. Since it wasn't in the original, it's not points off.BTW, this manual includes the relevant to the Saturn (only) CM panel pictures, which are clear and readable size. I wish the same quality was used for the "Apollo Spacecraft Familiarization" manual

The real deal
Meticulously and beautifully assembled from the original NASA document. A magnificent artifact of the Apollo program at a really fair price.

Pour en savoir plus sur Saturn V en ce 50e anniversaire !
Pendant que je montais un modèle d'une fusée Saturn V, je lisais ce livre. Fort instructif.

A deep look
That's the best one to choose if you want many many mission and technical information at a relatively low cost. As a manual you'll find everything you will need to know or if you want to better understand some aspects of the rocket sure you'll find it. The only thing is that it doesn't really is keen to be understandable to everyone for it has a rigid terminology and obviously a specific insights that may be harder for the ones who are just starting to discover the space marvel's.

Molto buono
