Works great so far.
Got this to operate low amp heaters for our giant tortoise. He’s a southern Sahara tortoise that doesn’t like cold or cool weather. This inverter is controlled by a timer and has worked so far. It does have a fan that keeps it within operating temperatures. No complaints.

The fan is on all the time even when nothing is drawing power
The fan is on even when nothing is plugged into it. That’s ridiculous! It’s a needless power draw on the battery. The fan is what is drawing 1/3 amp when on standby. Other then that it seems to be a great product. Instead of sending it back I opened it and carefully clipped the red wire to the fan and soldered an external switch. Depending on the switch position I can choose to have no fan or power it through a 94 ohm resistor which greatly reduces the fan speed and current draw. With the fan off I can run my 43 inch flat screen TV and DVD player for hours and the inverter never gets warm at all. They only draw sixty watts which is the most I will likely ever pull from the unit. Not everyone pushes their inverters to the max. Which would certainly need the cooling fan. I it in my motorhome camping. When I watch tv and get sleepy, I would have to get up and shut off the inverter to keep from draining the battery while I sleep. I eliminated that problem but voided the warranty. Not a high dollar investment anyway! One reason I chose the inverter out of the many others is it claimed to be 92% efficient on the amazon ad. Looking at the pamphlet the comes with the inverter it claims 85%. Simply means if your appliance is drawing 8.5 amps from the inverter, the inverter is drawing 10 amps from the battery. I’ll get over it because I’m sure that the efficiency is much greater at low power draw, and the efficiency gets much worse at high currents. That’s the rule with all inverters.

Perfect camping tool
I brought this power inverter along on our camping trip as a "just in case" measure. We brought the younger kids for the first time, and I wasn't sure how it would go. They did pretty well, but I could tell the great outdoors was kind of an overload for them not to get a break from. So I plugged this inverter into my vehicle's power outlet, and played some cartoons on our projector for the kids to watch. It gave them the break they needed, and it gave the parents the break we needed. Lol.

Worked one time then wouldn't turn on.
Connected to a 100ah lithium battery with 100amp max output and stopped working after 1 use after charing an e-bike with a 117 watt charger.

Phone charger cord can’t be used in charging port
The product arrived on time but I noticed the box had a crack on it. Then when I looked at the inverter where you plug the phone charger in, I couldn’t. It was not installed properly inside, wouldn’t work

The pure sine wave will help keep the sensitive electronics happy
I wanted an inverter to keep in my work truck for light duty charging needs where I could connect sensitive electronics or light duty motors without worry (hence the desire for a sine wave inverter). As car/truck batteries don't typically have deep discharge batteries, I wanted a smaller capacity inverter to limit how much load I put on the truck battery. This 500 watt inverter still may be a bit hard on a standard truck battery so I'll try to only use it when the alternator is running. The build quality of the unit looks nice and the USB ports and AC ports worked properly when I tested the inverter at phone charging and running a medium sized AC fan. As others have mentioned, the internal fan of the inverter runs constantly. I don't mind the small of draw of a constant fan as I'd much rather have the unit run as cool as possible.
