Yummy but could be more consistent
I'm happy to have gluten free toaster pastries and these 2 flavors are yummy! I do wish the quality control was a bit better. One of the foil packages was ripped open and the amount of icing is inconsistent on each one. Some have very little icing and some have a good amount.

Great GF option
Delicious gluten free option. Not too crumbly or flaky (like a lot of GF foods are). Always buy again!

Super sweet, maybe warm in microwave instead
I was excited to try these but they are way too sweet for me. Plus the frosting gets in toaster and hard to clean out. I like the idea and I’m sure someone that likes something super sweet would like it, maybe warm in microwave instead. I wish I could return but this item won’t accept returns.

The flavor makes it worth it
I was born in 1983, which means I grew up at the height of convenience snacks and breakfast foods. I'm a child of Dunkaroos and Lunchables and Gushers and, yes, Pop-Tarts. But being diagnosed with Celiac diseases and going kosher, I said goodbye to all those childhood favorites, meaning I had to check nostalgia at the door and move on with life. And then? Then came Katz's vision of Pop-Tarts, which are gluten-free and kosher. I had high hopes. I was so excited about this I had them shipped to a warehouse that ships things overseas to those of us living abroad. Yes, I paid to buy them and then paid (a stupidly exorbitant fee) to have them shipped to me in Israel. Was it worth it?Yes and no.These toaster pastries are much smaller than the Pop-Tarts of my youth, but I blame that on shrinkflation more than anything. The most disappointing thing was that the frosting on the picture (and I love the frosting on the Cinnamon Sugar ones) is so misleading. The toaster pastries themselves are pretty slim on the frosting, which is something Katz needs to work on.I took the toaster pastry and popped it into the toaster and waited patiently. The smells? Magic. Like standing in my childhood home toasting a pastry while Saturday morning cartoons blared in the background. I took the toaster pastry out of the toaster, I got the same fingertip burns I did as a kid. I then took a big bite into the hot breakfast treat and felt that nostalgic twinge of "HOLY CRAP WHY AM I EATING THIS NOW IT'S SO HOT."But the magic? The toaster pastry tasted like the toaster pastries of my youth. It was a touch more cinnamon in the dough, but the filling was on point and sent me back to a childhood where food was convenient and food was comfort (the side effects of that as an adult are harrowing, but the memories are worth these mini moments). The strawberry toaster pastries were on the level with the cinnamon-sugar toaster pastries (lacking frosting, flavor a piece of childhood). Will I buy them again? Maybe. But sometimes it's nice having a little slice of childhood and then letting it go again. Thanks Katz!
