Worth the Money
This hoist seems well built and plenty strong. It is also very heavy, so I recommend getting some help when installing. The one thing I don't like is the rate of travel is very fast, but that's just a personal thing. I like a slow travel, I just feel I have more control. But, I'll get comfortable with it. So, I really have no complaints. It's a good value for the money.

Were able yo haul all the Christmas decorations back into the attic easily. Just have to guide it as it rises as it tends to spin

Good solid hoist.
Great hoist. Originally bought the 440LB hoist for an attic elevator project, it worked but struggled and sounded horrible under load. For $40 more i replaced it with this and it’s been great. Wireless remote is the way to go!

Nice…but
So my first one didn’t work out of box. So watch out for return problems. They are heavy. Second one woks great. Seems like motor is heavy duty, relays are heavy duty, remote is very nice. Plastic parts are low quality (control box, covers, etc). Price is right, longevity is yet to be seen.

No Instructions on Install or Operations + Delivered Damaged
How can a product requiring installation NOT come with instructions. The motor sounds like it's trying to lover the cable, but nothing happens and there are no resources to troubleshoot. Is this fixable? No way to find out. Very disappointing and waste of time on cheap crap.
