It is the perfect swaddle and just what my husband and I needed for our little baby girl. We tried swaddling with just a swaddle blanket for the first week of her life, but she always either broke out of it or was still startling awake. I heard such good things about the Ollie swaddle but thought how good can it be for the price you're paying for. We decided to just go for it and it was THE BEST DECISION EVER! Our baby started sleeping so much better afterwards and it is quite easy to use as well. She is nearing 3 months so I am not sure how much longer she will need it once she starts rolling, but I like that it will probably be an easier transition out of it since we can still use it with her arms remaining free. We bought other velcro swaddles which do not work as well, but we still use them during the day and the Ollie at night and she has been sleeping for 6-9 hours at night. I will say one of the cons (when comparing to other velcro swaddles) is that the velcro is very loud, but that is no issue for us because when we need to remove her from the swaddle we (most of the time) are trying to wake her up to feed her during the day anyways. Sometimes at night when she wakes with the Ollie and we want to check if she needs a diaper change, we just undo the rubber band part and check that way so that we don't need to wake her even more with the velcro sounds. PROS: - easy to use - does not awake from moro reflex - will be easy transition out of it since can be used with arms free when baby starts rolling CONS: - velcro is louder than others

This was the absolute BEST swaddle we bought for our baby! To be fair, we maybe only tried a couple of other swaddles before being recommended this one, but boy do I wish we knew about this swaddle sooner!!! The first day we used it, our little one napped for about 2 hours twice in one day, which is life saving for this mama! Now, I will say, those long naps didn't happen every time after that first day but this swaddle really helped a lot with the startle reflex AND our little was not able to break out of it as easily (especially at first). The size is big enough to last your baby as long as they need swaddling, the material is very soft, stretchy, and just overall comfortable. The velcro is also strong. It was a little difficult to change baby's diaper with this on during those nighttime wake ups, but it wasn't a big deal. Highly recommend this swaddle. It is pricey but it is so worth it!!!

This swaddle is the best one on the market! The Velcro with elastic tie at the bottom design makes it easy to wrap your baby nice and snug. The material is thick and soft. It is easy to clean, just toss it in the wash in the provided mesh holder. The swaddle easily transitions with your baby. You can wrap the arms in or let them be free. We used this with our son while in the hospital until he was 6 months old. He slept like an angel in it. Don’t waste your time trying to learn to swaddle those other blankets. This is the easiest one to use.

Only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because I find it is not as easy as it says to change the pamper with it on so I do have to take her out of it and the velcro is loud as mentioned in other reviews but it hasn't been an issue for me. I loveee this swaddle and would buy it 10 times over! She instantly calms once wrapped in it and the sleep periods last minimum an hour longer with it than without. Material is thick and high quality. I ordered a second one incase one gets thrown up on. This purchase was a life saver!

Bought this on recommendation from a friend. We used it for about 1.5 weeks once we brought our daughter home. The Velcro is SUPER strong and very loud to take on and off. We also had some trouble getting the wrap to stay in the correct place. Even with wrapping it to the correct tightness it would slide up to her chin throughout the night. While she slept decent with this swaddle, once we switched to another brand she started sleeping much better and for longer stretches.

This is our favorite swaddle - we love the material, remains tight while the baby is wearing it. It is so much easier to use than other velcro swaddles. Our favorite feature is that this swaddle is straight across the baby's shoulders so that it does not creep up when the baby moves (we noticed that other swaddles crept up near the baby's face during the night and would wake up baby b/c he started rooting on the fabric). Other reviews mentioned that the velcro is really loud, however I do not think it is any louder than other velcro swaddles that we've tried (i.e. SwaddleMe and Halo brands). The placement of the velcro pieces on this swaddle does not allow them to get "stuck" on each other when setting it up before putting baby in, which definitely makes it easier to set up. It is also easier to wrap the baby in this swaddle than others because it is a simple cross over to attach the velcro rather than zippers or pouches to put the legs in. Our baby also does not get his arms out of this swaddle compared to others - I think it is due to the strong/stretchy fabric (similar to a thick dry-fit material) whereas other swaddles are made out of cotton and the fabric starts to give. This swaddle is pricey, but I feel worth it since we are happy with it. It also comes with a mesh laundry bag so that the velcro does not get stuck to other things in the laundry, which is a nice bonus.

Simply the best. I tried many of sweaters, but I throw all of them after I get this one. It’s looking stylish at the same time is it to wash? It’s squeezing well but not hurting as a stretchy It’s not the cheapest item, but it’s really good product and worth it

This is the best swaddle we’ve ever had for a newborn, we’ve just bought our second because our newborn is sleeping better than ever thanks to this. If he wets it during the night, by the time I give the spot a quick rinse, change his nappy and go back to it, it’s essentially dry. The fabric is amazing and the fact it’s 0.8 TOG makes it fantastic for summer in Australia. LOVE THIS, definitely an investment but a very worthwhile one

I wish I had the ollie with my first, makes swaddling so easy. I also think it helped increasing my infants sleep stretches at night. Started using this at 4 weeks and night stretches went to 5-6 hours, now they are 8-9 at 7 weeks old. I didn't do anything new besides the ollie (keep in mind I was capping day time naps, making sure baby was eating enough during the day, exposing to sunlight during day and getting fresh air etc). The velcro is so easy! It can be loud so it's good to practice at getting good at using it, I've had go readjust mine and haven't had baby wake up yet. Only had 2 breakouts and they were user error, the nice part is that arms go up and out if this happens and the swaddle can't go over babes face. Highly reccomending this swaddle to all my mom friends now!

My babies both wore a different name brand swaddle and often would wriggle themselves out at some point in the night. They’d stretch all other ones out so bad. It was super frustrating and I think I ordered about 3 different ones to try. The Ollie is incredible!!! My little escape artists have never broken out of this swaddle. The fabric makes it stretchy enough for them to move but not easy enough for their little arms to make their way out. Huge fan. The fabric also is truly moisture wicking and easy to clean. 10/10 for us. Highly recommend.

It’s just way too hot. Polyester so unless you’re on a very cold room it’s just not safe.
