How many of the oxygen absorbers would you require for a bag of this size? thanks

One 300cc oxygen absorber per bag 25cm x 35cm is sufficient. Thank you.

I bought them for rice which I got from Costco. Fitted 10 scoops (cup size) which fitted nicely in, added oxygen absorber and sealed with an iron. Worked perfectly.

no, impossible because the bag is high quality with high thicness. you can use special sealing machine (400-500€) or simply use clothing iron (20€) with clothing iron, you have a thick sealing joint.

Is this a us gallon or an imperial gallon? big difference

Doesn't matter you're only using it as a means to seal the bag, i fill 5gal mylar bags with beans by placing 5gal mylar bag in a 5gal food grade bucket then fill it up making sure to compress it down, add 2 oxygen absorbers & seal, leave it 24hrs to check seal is good then put the lid on & store, the bucket keeps critters out & protects the mylar bag from knocks

Perfect!

Used to seal some rice I got from Costco. The sealer I ordered as well was rubbish and didn't seal properly. Checked on my friend Google and found a domestic iron worked perfectly.

Do not zip shut

Good quality Mylar bags but they do not have a zip seal as advertised.

not resealable

not what you would think, there is no inner zip lock to reseal. when the bag is torn open its open with no means of reseal, sellotape i guess!...also bags don't stand up on there own when full as the picture suggests. its just a Mylar bag heat sealed across the bottom and sides. a bit disappointed.

Par les temps qui courent et ceux qui arrivent au galop il est plus qu'urgent de penser à préparer des stocks pérennes. Le Mylar est le matériau idéal pour garder sa nourriture au sac et rallonger la DLC sur plusieurs dizaines d'années. Ces sacs sont idéaux et résistants. Très satisfaite. Un petit bémol tout de même. Ils devraient être vendus directement avec les sachets anti humidité qui sont nécessaires. Genre 30 sacs/30 sachets conservation en lot.
