75503-35061-A0 Upper Top Windshield Trim Molding Compatible with Toyota FJ Cruiser 2007-2014 Replaces 7550335061A0

I had previously written a 1 star review until realizing my install was user error. There are 2 of the brackets that need to be installed underneath the windshield. The other 4 are snap on. FYI!

The piece is great. Looked like the original. I'm not sure what failed, the clips or the adhesive paste that comes with the product. I almost just used an auto glass adhesive, but figured what they sent with their product would be better. Snapped in easily and was a nice snug fit. Used up both tubes of their adhesive entirely. I don't know, but after curing in my warm garage for 2 days before driving this snapped off going about 75mph after 150-200 miles of driving. If someone finds it on Southbound I5 just before the grapevine I'd appreciate its return. The included adhesive was more like a spongy memory foam (now that I can poke it). I'll contact the sellers and see if they can make this right, then I'll update review if needed.

Fit a 2014 FJ perfect

First off, this is not a “close enough” aftermarket part. A close enough part may last you 5 years before failure vs 10+ from Toyota. This part looks fine and the white trim portion probably is good enough to make a viable product. However, this trim is only as good as the retainer clips. The retainer clips are vital because they’re all that’s keeping the trim flying off your FJ. When I inspected the part I was shocked by how cheap and weak the plastic was on the retainer clips. Light freely passed through them and they looked like it may brake simply installing the trim. Guess what? The clips broke whilst I carefully installed the trim. The good thing is that at least the trim didn’t fly off on the road so I couldn’t return it. Absolutely shocking. If they had spent a dollar or two to have a very strong abs plastic then this would have been a fine aftermarket alternative. But as it is, it’s useless and WILL fly off on the road.

The part came in and I mounted it to the vehicle. It fit well and looked the part! 😁

Where are the clips that it shows in the picture that I would assume should come with this product.

Followed the directions on how to seal it and fix it exactly. Flew right off as soon as I hit the main road.

The part fit installed fine and fit well, but it flew off on the first trip I took on the freeway. It is gone now

One of the pictures shows that It comes with new clips, no clips in the box and had to order them from Toyota.
