This is the one to get - rugged for daily use, not cheap imported cables!
I bought a "plantronics" adapter cable for my polycom voip phones, and got this really thin junk from china. I bought this cable, and it was rugged, wide cable, strain relief on the jacks - everything you want in a call center for reliability of voice communication. I've standardized on this model, because amazon's search returns any fly by night company who claims (falsely) to make a similar product - this is the one to buy.

Replacement cord does not transport sound.
It connects easily to the headset and phone amplifier, but no sound is received through the headset. The Plantronics representative recommended this cord for our headset to replace a fraying cord. We ordered the cord he told us was the correct replacement cord. No sound is heard through this cord. I wonder if something needs to be clicked to make it work, but I am at a loss as to how to use this cord. I will have to do another return.

Excellent Quick Disconnect
