Better than I expected! Back saver. Fine workmanship. Worth it if you burn a lot of wood
The handle is Super Solid. You will need to sand it down a bit and apply some oil. The Pick portion of this tool is very high quality Blued steel. Swing it HARD at where you are looking and Away from your BODY!!!! You can drag very heavy logs with this tool and it saves your back.

Best for firewood
I have 5 pickaroons/hookaroons. This is the best one for moving firewood, head weight makes it easy to stick into the wood. A slight modification to the tip makes it work great in hardwoods and still releases easy. I have a Husqvarna, fiskars, logrite, and 2 council tool pickaroon/hookaroon . The husky has an odd angle at the tip which makes it difficult to pickup wood with the side grain, does not work good in hardwood. Fiskars is too short and light, need to swing very hard to stick in wood, lots of handle shock when using it on oak. Logrite has an uncomfortable handle for extended use and the tip doesn't release well, is great for moving around boards and fence posts.
