Good detailing paint

I started my own painted shoes buisness recently and I needed a good set of paints that could take me a long way. Golden, I always knew was a high named brand and when I got high flow, I knew it would be good; but also I was taking a gamble since it was a form of the paint I haven’t worked with. I painted a beautiful pair of shoes out of this pair and I couldn’t be happier! The colors are very vibrant. They apply easily to the target and dries within an hour. Only complaint I have is the mixing of colors which takes a bit more time than normal due to the paints runny nature, and getting a good shade of reddish purple is kinda a pain. Otherwise I’m extremely happy with the paints and the biggest piece of advice I can give to anyone who uses this paints for painting is that a drop will go a long way.

My only issue is the seal on the Pyrrol Red came off in transit, so I lost quite a bit of the red paint. The cellophane packging held the paint in the box, so I was able to clean most of it off all the bottles. The thought of trying to re-package and return when I am still in lockdown kept me from going that route. Since I use maybe 2 drops per use and still had most of the bottle left, it’s fine. As for the paint itself, it’s a great selection of colors forming a complete pallet and at a noticeable savings over buying individually. Anything by Golden is worth the cost.

I love Golden's high flow paints, but I really think they are overpriced for what they are. You can get just as good high flow acrylics from much more affordable manufacturers, or just make your own. Not sure what makes these as expensive as they are. Overall, good product, but not so much so that they should cost double for such small bottles.

Product arrived quickly. High Flow Acrylic is unusual - a cross between ink and acrylic, fairly intense opaque color. It reacts differently on the paper, revealing paper texture more than expected. Worth experimenting with since it comes in so many different colors.

Very pigmented and a little really goes a long way. We use these for airbrushing as well as adding pigment to GAC for poured or fluid art. They are expensive but worth it, Golden products are so pigmented and pretty and especially mixed with mediums they really last a long while. Also they mix well to create a variety of custom colors!

This paint has an ink-like quality and as such wanted to try them in my airbrush work so I won't have to thin my acrylic paints anymore. The only downside is the quantity of paint in each of the bottles, it will limit my ability to work on larger projects.

I am using these in acrylic paintings (for drips, ink spots, glazes, etc.). At first I was taken aback by the size of the bottles for the price but I was curious and decided to give them a try. Great decision ! I found that you need to use a lot less product than if you use heavy body acrylics diluted with water or acrylic medium and it retains much more color intensity. These fluid acrylics are great and it is a good starter's pack. The pigments are intense and the paint has a great consistency. These are the first fluid acrylic paints that I've bought, but it won't be the last. I'm really having fun and want to experiment more with them :)
