Student Book 2 (AQA Activate for KS3)

My daughters school follow this book , it’s complete science book for year 8

This book covers the topics at KS3 that the activate 1 book does not. I wish it had been around a few months ago when I was planning our scheme of work for our year 7s. There is enough information on each doeble page to cover a lesson, but the activities are not enough in themselves to be the lesson's assessment as they would only take a few minutes to complete for a very able student. The content is not differentiated in any way. Although the pictures and diagrams do a great job at breaking up the text - it would be good if there was a differentiated book for lower abilities that was less 'wordy' It would have received 5 stars if the answers to the questions were available without buying a teacher's version.

Just exactly what I needed for my daughter to progress in her science class, very good explanations, easy to understand and on top of all the school uses the same book. Remember to buy all 3 books.

My daughter insists on me buying these books every year. She said they are very helpful and easy to work through. Definite thumbs up!! 👍🏻

The book is very useful however it doesn't have all the same topics as the previous Activate 2 book.
