Great for kids
I bought this as a gift for one of my little cousins. He loved it. He's pretty hyperactive so the fast-paced nature of the of the game hooked him in... let alone the fact that it's dinosaurs-themed! He LOVES dinosaurs.

This was actually really fun :)
Hubby and I played this with the girls (ages 5 and 8) and we actually had alot of fun. THe 5 year old caught on almost immediately, and the 8 year old was ALOT faster to grab a meeple that we thought she'd be.....little ninja.... :P We did add our own conditions to being able to grab a meeple (mostly because of our little ninja) that you have to yell DINO!!!! before you can grab a meeple. This leads to alot of laughing after furious grab dashing to get a meeple :)

This game is super cute and fun to play. I don't want to explain it too much to spoil it.

Creative Version of Spoons
If you've ever played spoons, then you will be familiar with this game play. You need at least 3 people in order to play, and anything more than 8 is just too many. I found that this version was easier for my 8 year old twins than regular spoons so I'm really happy we bought it. They had a really good time playing it. My son tried really hard to perfect his "fake out." The game specifically says that pretending to grab a dinosaur in order to trick other people into grabbing one is totally legal. I also taught them how to grab a dinosaur very discreetly so everyone just continues to play, not realizing you've taken one. We have played A LOT of rounds of Save the Dinosaurs.I don't have any complaints about this game. The dino pieces are a good size. The scorecards are a really nice touch. The illustrations on the dinosaur cards are really cute and creative. It's easy enough for my 5 year old to understand, and yet still fun for the adults to play. Total win for our house. I'd definitely recommend it.
