Just looked at packaging and it doesn’t state where it’s from. It was very fresh when delivered and you get a lot for the price. My ring neck parakeet loves it.

How many pieces roughly?

There are quiet a few as it comes in a carrier bag size. But not all sprays are same size. Some are very small or very thin. And a lot of the spray is lost in carriage as it can been found at the bottom of the bag. Just hazarding a guess probably 30-40 sprays totalling 1kg

Is this good for hamsters?

Yes, hamsters can have millet, but only as a treat. It is high in fat, so don't give too much in one go - you would need to break up the spray. Mine love it!
