Journal Cover for Field Notes & Moleskine Cahier 3.5 x 5.5, Waxed Canvas Notebook Planner Sketchbook Cover with Zipper Pen Holder (Olive)

My husband uses this as his wallet. Odd I know but hes big on random note taking especially with his job so it makes it easy on him to have one thing in his pockets rather than multiple. He absolutely loves this thing and it’s virtually water proof. The nice canvas material works well to repel water or other liquids. It’s accidentally been through a house fire and thought I wouldn’t label it fire proof, it survived the trip.

Great little notebook cover at an excellent price, fits my field notes and small leuchtturm notebooks with ease. Does everything the more expensive brand name cover do, and this one has a pen holder inside. Great purchase!

This journal cover is meeting all my expectations and needs. The cover is durable. It is water-resistant. The zipper keeps dust and crumbs out. The pen holder is wide enough to hold a wide barrel pen. Note paper fits snuggly inside. The journal cover fits in my rear jeans pocket smoothly. I highly recommend it for the perfect price.

About a year in, and the journal cover is holding up nicely. There are some light marks on the front where I keep my pens and pencil, but that was to be expected--especially with waxed canvas. On the inside, it holds a pair of Field Notes notebooks, business cards, a small tube of graphite leads, and some small sticky notes comfortably. The cover easily fits into the back pocket of most of my jeans even when 'fully' loaded with my normal daily stuff in it.

This cover was recommended by Jana from Purl Together. I use it as a cover for small lined tables, pens, money, credit cards, and my cellphone. There is an outside pocket on both front and back; inside there are three slots from credit cards, a pocket for a small note book, pen holder, and a slot under the credit card holder. Basically it’s used as a wallet when I don’t want to haul my purse on quick errands.

I carry this in my EDC bag or pocket with a gel rollerball pen and field notes notebook. My son also carries one with field notebook and a space pen. Well made, water proof D1000 nylondouble stitched trims. Inside pockets for cards and small ruler.

The waxed canvas build of this Maxhoo Journal Cover is great and offers a lot of character to this journal cover. It is also a fraction of the price of a Lochby journal cover with some nicer features like the pen loop on the inside of the cover. I was able to fit my Rotring 800 Pen but the loop was a bit loose. The cover provides an ideal fit for Field Notes. I also tried fitting in Moleskine Cahier and Leuchtturm1917 Jott notebook and those fit as well. There are pockets on the left for cards, cash and other small items. The zipper works fine but I would have preferred something smoother, or perhaps a bit more water resistant. For the price, this journal cover is excellent, has a great look and ideal for EDC enthusiasts looking for a compact and affordable journal cover and multi-purpose organizer.

It was a great deal for the cost and was exactly what I was looking for. It does fit 3.5 by 5.5 notebooks, and was very pleased that it does fit a slim Leuchtturm1917. (not a thick one, just Jottbook or Slim) Have only used it for a couple of days so cannot comment on durability.
