This rod is without a doubt my favorite rod for any type of fishing. It isn’t my most expensive rod but it is certainly versatile, lightweight for long lure sessions, durable for big fish (21lb carp tested) and the cork handle is beautiful. I would happily have payed £150 for this rod had I known how good it would be. I never go fishing without this rod anymore whether it be for 88lb catfish or 5oz perch this rod is my ultimate go-to for fishing. Not only can the rod be trusted to not break under weight, it has enough backbone to set the hook into any fish you’ll catch as well as being sensitive enough to feel even the lightest bites. If I could marry an object it would be this rod

No harm for all the money this costs by God it does the job only starting fishing recently and have already had 9 Mackerel 2 Pollock 1 Hering ...great wee rod will be giving to my son and upgrading to a bigger one

Great quality spinning rods

Heavier than my ultra light that I'm used to, but that's to be expected, so just got to adjust to it. Well made rod, and feels like it'll last a good time, and I'm casting lighter lures a good distance than is recommended for it.

One of the best rods I have used. I take it sea fishing and on the first day caught 3 mackerel on one cast, put up a good fight and lots of flex in the rod. Can’t believe how cheap this rod is for its durability and light weight design. I got the biggest one they offered which I believe is 9 - 10 foot which I never thought would be a big enough rod to get out any far but the flex in the tip makes it like a whip. Definitely recommend for anyone getting into fishing that wants a nice good looking rod! I’m using quite a big reel on it which I understand is a bit over kill and heavy, but the rod being lighter means that my backs a lot less painful at the end of the day.

Judging by the weight it’s more fibre glass than carbon. For the price it’s ok - you get what you pay for….

Perfect for throwing light lures. Using recommended reel and line it makes an excellently balanced outfit.
