Easy to clean!
They were bigger than I was expected, but it turns out it is great so that it is easier to clean. I added one set in my toddler's stocking and I am saving the other one for another time.

3.5 year old is getting better at this
Difficult at first for kids to push play dough all the way through. However, one reason we all play with play dough is to strengthen the muscles in the hands. My 3.5 year old is getting better at this, my 2.5 year old still struggles, but wants to play with them ever time we have them out.

playdough extruders for preschool
My 2s class really enjoys these tools. My only complaint is the way they are designed... the play dough gets stuck inside, and I have to use an open paper clip to clean out. But the children enjoy using them and they go through the school industrial dishwasher easily each day. They have different designs to what shape comes out. Some are better than others. The star and pasta/hair ones work well.

Fun and Great for muscle building
The children love the "spaghetti" made by one of these as well as making bricks and decorations with the others. It is a bit of a challenge to push the playdough through some of them but they are building muscles! That's probably the only drawback with my 4 and 3 year old groups.

Party favors
Bought these as party favors for our two. We put them with a mini pack of play dough. Super cute and work great if you can squeeze them out. My 4 year old struggled to use on his own but eventually he was able to push down hard enough to get it out.

Awesome!
My 3 and 5 year old loved these! I saw some reviews say they are hard to push, but pushing thick clay through tiny holes, there’s going to be some resistance. That being said depending on the hole size they weren’t that bad to push the play dough through! My 2 almost 3 year old could do it and independently. Worth the money and toddler approved!

Extra clean up is worth it!
My students love these. In fact, they love them so much (and they work so well) that there is play dough all over my floor after they go to this center. I love how they use their imaginations to make the little thready pieces into all kinds of different things (hair, snakes, spaghetti, etc.). I also love how they are building their little hand muscles and having a blast doing it. So, I’ll give them a few extra minutes of cleaning time because these are so much fun!

Cute but break easily
These fun color dough extractors function well but upon first use with soft homemade play doh one broke. The plastic handle just cracked and crumbled.
