Eco Pond Fish Pond Duckweed Control 500ml

Perfect product. Does what it states. Hadn’t completely got rid of duckweed. But it didn’t say if would just that it would prevent more growing, which it has. Love the easy to measure bottle too.

It's important to bear in mind that this is a duckweed control product - it does not promise eradication. As my pond grew ever greener I decided to spend 2 mins every day or so fishing it out with a net - and adding this product as well. And the duckweed seems not to be taking over so quickly. But this is a causation v correlation question - how can I tell how much is due to this product? I gave it 4 stars anyway cos I do think it's doing some good. PS Who knew that duckweed was so full of nutrients?

My wildlife pond is tiny, approximately 18” deep and 24” in diameter but covered in duckweed which stops sunlight and as a result a nightmare for tadpoles, i bought this stuff in the hope that it would clear it up but i have to say it is absolutely useless. I even mixed it far stronger than the instructions say but still it doesn’t work. Don’t waste your money on this product

Arrived super fast. I still have duck weed flourishing it doesn't appear to work quickly so I'm still scooping it out with the net. Don't think I'll get it again

I have two ponds connected and they are BOTH CLEAR NOW having used the product. It DOES NOT KILL THE DUCKWEED it stops it from multiplying so as the individual weeds die off, they aren't replaced. It does work!!

It didn’t clear any duck weed even though instructions were followed

So far so good I’m about to reach week 4 and I have put a whole bottle of this chemical into my pond each week. Before doing so, I make a habit of using a net to remove as much duck weed as possible and clear the water surface of those little weeds using my leaf blower or my hose so that there’s as little duck weed remaining as possible. Generally 99% of the water surface stays free of weed in the week that follows. However, I also did some reading up as am doing other things to improve the health of the waters. I’ve installed a solar pump to inject some air into the water. Overall the look of the water seems to be improving. Not sure this will eradicate all the weed but it’s getting it to a much more manageable level.

Brilliant product - got rid of all the duckweed without any harm to the wildlife - Highly Recommended would definitely buy again
